We stayed here with our friends and 2 toddlers.We arrived at 4am after a 22 hour journey and were swiftly whisked away to our suite where our check in was completed in our room. The sitting room was spacious with clean lines and a comfortable sofa.The bed was very comfortable and loved that the controls for the curtains, etc were next to the bed. The bathroom had a tub,separate shower(with amazing water pressure-unusual in India!). We had breakfast every morning at Kochi Kitchen. What s scrumptious spread!!Fresh Idlis, Dosas,Paranthas,eggs,pancakes,waffles,fruit,salads,pastries and so much more!!I We were very impressed with the quality of food. This was exceeded only by the affability of the staff. Service with a smile.Really a pleasure especially we had two very active toddlers with us! A big thank you to all of the staff and their chef's there. When we told them how much we enjoyed their food especially Sambhar and asked for recipes, they arranged cooking lessons for us at Cassava.Thanks to Jr. Sous Chef Sherin and his assistant Chef Khan for sharing their knowledge and expertise with me!! They have a very nice pool and loungers available! we also used the expansive exercise room with a variety of cardio machines and exercise equipment. A big thank you also to Peter at the concierge desk fro helping us our varied travel plans..very courteous and prompt! In summary,lovely rooms,excellent food,excellent staff. Located next to one of the largest shopping malls in India.

The overall ambiance is good. Staff is courteous. Rooms are good modern and well equipped. Restaurants are good - The kerala restaurant is good- but does not do full justice to the range of Keralas cuisine. Most important is that hotel is located centrally and access is very good. With LULU Mall sitting in the same compound, its a great destination for shopping. Metro is coming up and will add to the attraction of the hotel location.

Kochi Marriott Hotel room was very fabulous with a great view thru a full size window on kochi city. Kochi Marriott room service was very generous by supplying the room daily with bottled water and fresh fruit, beside the free breakfast at Kochi kitchen. all that made us to extend our stay 5 days more.

One thing that I have come to understand as a customer/client/guest is that a hotel that is warm and accommodating is both a joy to stay at and also to endorse. This hotel was good. It was efficient, courteous, and had nice rooms, nice restaurant and great service. The few things I would change is I would have it take lessons from the Courtyard Marriott at the Cochin airport that had a far better customer service attitude of making a guest feel 'at home' and less than a nuisance. For example, (and there were a few) they positioned a young woman to greet people as they entered. Within 15 minutes she looked through me and welcomed me 3 times. So I stopped her and told her so. She became argumentative a bit and I walked away. I sat down in the lobby on a stool next to the piano. I set down my expensive handbag and had security or somebody in a suit tell me that the piano was really expensive. So am I supposed to believe I am cheap? Hmm, I am paying for that privilege and why would you have a stool next to it? C'mon, this place is as warm as living in a jewelry shop or a board room. The rooms were comfortable though.. It was an "efficient" stay but certainly made me feel unimportant, dirty and less than human.

It was our first time in Kochi. The Marriot was hometo us for 4 nights. During this time, not only were we given utmost excellence in service, but staff went above and beyond their duties to make us feel at home. We were warmly welcomed, our requests met, our stay made comfortable, great suggestions on things to do, fantastic food and most of all the hospitality by all staff from reception staff, to buggy drivers were fantastic. A special thank you to Ishaan duty manager, who was always avalible on call, Rinku reception desk who even before our stay made adjustments and accepted our parcels, Mohendra and other housekeeping staff for fantastic decor in our rooms, Harmeez and executive lounge staff for looking after us when we returned for luggage,. the chefs for making our take away breakfasts, and all concierge staff and buggy staff who made us feel so comfortable. Top many staff to name, but I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to kochi. You really cannot go wrong. We look forward to revisiting. Neeraj & Shalini.
