Old Lighthouse Bristow Hotel

The property is an old bungalow in a stunning location right on the seashore, offering a beautiful view of harbour. The cottage we took was spacious, clean and beautifully presented. The staffs were kind and helpful, and they even prepared special meals for my toddler upon request, which we greatly appreciate. However, there are a few areas where improvements could enhance the overall experience. While the food was acceptable, it wasn't exceptional. Similarly the provided room facilities such as toiletries were adequate but not quite upto par. Addressing these minor points would elevate this property to a five star destination.

The hotel has a good location, but there are some major drawbacks. The food quality is just average’not bad, but nothing special either. The biggest issue is the water supply; it's salt water, which makes washing quite uncomfortable. Service was okay, but for the price, I expected better amenities. Wouldn't recommend it unless you have no other options.

Had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The ambiance was perfect’relaxing and beautifully set. We enjoyed delicious shakes and mojitos, which were refreshing and well-made. A special shoutout to our server, Aswani, who provided excellent service and made our visit even more enjoyable.

There aren’t that many seafront restaurants in Fort Kochi where you can enjoy the sea breezes on a hot February evening. It was for this reason we chose The Old Lighthouse Hotel and Restaurant. After a long travel day, it was very nice to sit outside in the hotel’s garden listening to the surf breaking on the adjacent beach. Our personable waiter, Edward, gave us a little menu guidance and we thoroughly enjoyed our chosen dishes notably a delicious spicy cauliflower, a piquant paneer and an extremely flavoursome veg curry all washed down with a cold Kingfisher and a salt lime soda.
