This very charming hotel is located just on the edge of Fort Cochin. Delightful decor, fantastic views and very competent and charming members of staff. It has its own defaults (minor ones) which are totally compensated by its charm and it's very helpful staff. The food in the restaurant is excellent. While you are having breakfast you can watch the dolphins in the sea. Swimming pool well maintained and a welcome break after sightseeing. Great gardens, in pristine state. I can't wait to go back

We booked to stay in this hotel for just a couple of nights but it was so excellent in all ways that we stayed for over 2 weeks. The staff were all delightful, very kind and thoughtful and could not do enough for us. They even booked us accommodation in Madurai and requested an upgrade which turned out to be a villa with our own private pool. Our room was small but comfortable and we were shown alternative accommodation for our planned return at the end of the year. We were very impressed at the high quality and size of this room with its lovely wet room , balcony and vast bed . We ate in the hotel most evenings and the food was superb. Breakfasts excellent with Indian breakfasts , quite delicious and different each day. Gardens well maintained by ladies sweeping leaves up all day and a spotless warm pool. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. It was truly a memorable experience and we really hope to return and meet all these lovely people in their excellent hotel again .

This is a great little hotel, smart and efficiently run by a very friendly and helpful team of staff - the manager Rajesh is faultlessly friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant and relaxing stay. The restaurant was a highlight - with delicious Keralan food served in a lovely environment. We stayed in the Sir Robert Suite which overlooks the busy city beach - it was a lovely, elegant room. Sadly we were both badly bitten by mosquitos - they are a problem in this area, not the hotels fault, but potentially more could be done to alert foreign travellers to the problem. A lovely pool in an attractive garden where it was always possible to find a quiet place to relax. The main thing I valued about my stay here was the wonderful, warm welcome and quiet attentiveness of the staff.

In many ways this hotel deserved an average rating but it is well located and our room was one of the outside cottages directly looking at the sea where we were able to watch dolphins most days.Our room was good, we had a few problems with hot water and using a hairdryer tripped the electric but the bed was large and comfortable. Most of my grievances are down to organisation, I note that a previous review mentioned that there was a large breakfast menu but not a lot was available, whilst we were there was no breakfast menu, on the buffet table was fruit juice, fresh fruit, cereals and bread for toasting, the waiter ( he was great) asked what else you would like but this is difficult if you don't know what is available, perhaps a daily blackboard may help. We also resented being presented with a long list of do's and dont's at reception which you are then asked to sign, we also had to request our passports back the next day as they had not been returned. Another small annoyance was that in the morning the grounds would be strewn with serviettes which had not been picked up by 10am but they were watering the grass. At checkout they said they needed to check the minibar ( the items originally in it did not tally with their list), but 20 minutes later when nobody appeared we went back to reception and they just checked us out. This hotel if managed well could be superb.

We haven't stayed at this resort, we just used their restaurant and bar. Prices are cheap, and where ever you sit on this terrace restaurant you get a beautiful view of the ocean and sun set! Nice ambience, friendly staff, good prices.....,,
