The Brunton Boatyard Hotel - CGH Earth

Beautiful property with immaculate service. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are many complimentary activities to join in as well great area to just relax. We loved the stunning historic building being rebirthed to such a high standard while promoting sustainability. Be mindful that you are near a working harbour so you will be exposed to the daily hustle and bustle. It didn't bother us at all and was actually a lovely and quiet setting compared to Northern India.

My wife & myself got the wonderful opportunity to stay in this beautiful and spectacular hotel in Kochi. It is located at the picturesque fort area of Kochi and is nearby to many historical places. The hotel is nicely renovated and with full of rich history of Kochi. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of rich history and culture of Kochi and will tell you many stories behind everything in the Hotel. The rooms are specious with state-of-the-art amenities are kept as well. Both the coffee shop and the restaurant are magnificent. From the breakfast to lunch and to dinner, we had one of the best culinary experiences of South India. During the evening, you can sit down and watch the spectacular fort area, where you can see different types of ships, vessels and even the famous water-metro of Kochi. The hotel will serve a delicious high-tea where we enjoyed some delicious snacks. You can take a taxi and visit the old Jews Town of Kochi and gain the experiences and listen to the stories of the very last Jews settlement of Kochi. The hotel has a small spa where you can indulge for a relaxation treatment as well. The staffs are extremely helpful, polite and professional. As the area is totally out from the busy and bustling Kochi centre, you can enjoy a pure romantic holiday in this quite hotel. Please keep in mind that this hotel is far from the airport. Therefore, you need to calculate enough time to reaching to airport as well.

Had a great relaxing stat at Brunton Boatyard. Eco friendly, quiet and located right on the water, it is the ideal place to stay in Fort Kochi. Our visit was made amazing by Jasmine and Sanjay’s hospitality. It was wonderful to interact with them and they made this a comfortable stay for my family.

We stayed at the hotel for the second time. The first time was 20 years ago and we decided to bring the elder kids on a travelling tour of Kerala. The hotel is wonderful, the food is excellent, the rooms are beautiful - if you like modern with flashy bells and whistles then this isn’t for you. It’s old school - wooden furniture and colonial architecture with most original features. The only downside is the noise. The car ferry next door starts at 6am and finishes at 9pm and the locals love to party on the seafront at ALL hours. There was music outside our suite window at 3am. It’s still work a visit as Fort Cochi is lovely but pack your ear plugs!!

A beautiful hotel with a very high level of service. All the staff were so pleasant and efficient. Late-afternoon tea was a pleasant treat, and I also enjoyed the sunset boat tour. I would gladly return.
