The location of the Hotel is a great plus.Rooms are spacious,airy and split air conditioned.We were given a large suite on the first floor with a bed room,bathroom,Dining area,Balcony and a visitors bathroom toilet.Large queen size spring Beds,4 large pillows,a comforter for the tariff of Rs.3500 plus tax.Comfortable large sofas.48"TV!.The only minus was the absence of the restaurant which was said to be under renovation.We stayed for one night and bed coffee was served from the nearby Annapoorana which was good.The enormous parking space could well accommodate around 40 cars I believe!Excellent property which needs upkeep.l booked online at ttdconline site without any hassle.For easy checkin make sure to call the Manager phone at 9176995852 who prompty cleared us from the slight delay at the reception due to power failure which was solved with the generator power.I noticed a number of lady staff than men!All the best.....

We stayed there with 2 groups. The firts group for 2 nights and the second group checked out after 1 night. The only thing that is correct are the pictures of the entrance and the hall/lobby on the internet. That looks good and thats it. The rooms are not clean ( beds) and the toilets and bathroom is dirty and not wel maintained. I travelled with senior citisens and we were supposed to get a 20 % discount but the person at the desk made it so difficult that at the end I was the only one ( tourleader) to get 20 % of my personal bill.The Restaurant was closed ( seems closed foreven) so no breakfast lunch and diner possible. We had to walk to some nearby restaurants to get the food. They have a parking inside the gate, which is positive. People at the receptiondesk speak very little Englisch.I know it is not the language of Coimbatore, but when you run a hotel ???? The surrounding of the hotel is noisy and dusty because they are building a new main road ( fly-over) in front of the hotel. Too expensive for the budget-rate they are asking.

Although service is average the location more than makes up for this. Very close to gandhipuram Bus Stand and Cross Cut Road, the place is ideal for folks who are in Kovai for a spot of family shopping. The rooms are large and airy too.

I happened to stay in this hotel for 4 nights during my trip to Ooty and Coimbatore. Pros: 1 - near Gandhipuram bus stand and center of the city Cons: 1 - cockroaches and lizards in the room 2 - bad service in all aspects (replacing towel, dirty water glass, dirty flask / water container ) 3 - hot water tap is not working 4 - every room has different AC machine 5 - window curtain is not fully functional 6 - torn (damage) mosquito netlon 7 - broken window (unable to close) 8 - worst wash basis in the toilet 9 - shaking western closet and many more.....

The hotel has the best location. Since there no advance booking non AC room was provided on check in. Seeing the pathetic condition requested for AC room which was comparatively better. Being state owned,it seemed a total mismanaged hospitality in areas like services, cleanliness efficiency and maintenance .Rooms were small. Ambiance was not good.Near by restaurant was average. Staffs to be motivated with incentive and there must be proper management to compete with very highly competitive hospitality industry,other wise it will be another story of mismanaged public property.
