Over all experience is very good. Staff is very co-operative and helpful. I am strongly recomend this hotel.
This was my second stay in the past six months.As the staff was known to me I did get whatever I wanted.The hotel is very well located and very close to the Coonoor -Ooty Road,but at the same time is very quiet.The rooms are large with wooden flooring and very comfortable beds. Though the menu is very exhaustive,many of the items especially,continental were not available on both my visits.However I must add that whatever was served both south Indian and north Indian preparations were very well made.Dosas idlies were bound to good being south India but even the roties and parathas were as good or maybe better than what you could get at similar hotels in Simla or Nainital. The stay itself is very calming,perhaps the best place to read or even write a book.The perfect place to make a base and explore all the sights of Nilgiri hills. I would also recommend the place for newly weds who appreciate a little solitude. Another feature is ample parking available just in front. To sum up this a nice hotel,well made and maintained,offering value for the money being charged.
We have booked suite room, but due to some renovation work we got a free upgrade to deluxe room. The deluxe room was very good, spacious, neat and clean. The furnitures were like old maharajas kind of which is fantastic. We liked the hotel very much, stuffs were very friendly. Food was also good but with limited varity which I dont think is a deal breaker.
the hotel room was having a window showing the good view of hills which was the most admirable point of the hotel.service and food quality was good enough.only thing which i didn't like about the hotel was that room was not having any tube-light.it was having 3-4 yellow coloured cfl lamps & two side lamps(white) but lighting was low inside the room.
The rooms were clean and well furnished. Had that antique furniture look and even the room size was big. The view of the valley from the window of the room was breathtaking. It would have been great if the rooms had balcony. The hotel was value for money hotel. It had all the basic amenities and even the DVD player. The hotel staff was also very cooperative and Mr Sampat Rao (Resident Manager) was of great help. Its a small hotel of 10 rooms and they had just one restaurant. The food was better in this restaurant than many other places that we tried. Location was also fine. As you enter Conoor, you can see the hotel. Overall, we had great time and I would recommend this hotel to everyone who is visiting Conoor.
