Good and decent option for nature lovers Good and decent option for nature lovers

by Bhaskar M on January 30, 2017

We 2 couples visited this place on sept 2015,With INR 750 per person and the facilities, it is an excellent option for nature lovers. The cottages are located amidst coffee plantations. There is water stream running opposite to the hometsay. The staff is extremely co-operative and helpful. They have 24 hrs hot water, camp fire facilities. The rooms are neat and clean. They are not great as a 3 star hotel but have basic neatness. The bathrooms are neat and clean. Kudos to the owners Ibrahim for such well maintained budget homestay.

My second visit and definitely not the last one My second visit and definitely not the last one

I have been here before in February 2016 and was satisfied with the overall experience and hence decided to stay here again during my second visit to Coorg. Coorg Coffee Hills is just awesome - Excellent location with admirable host (Mr. Ibrahim) and best of the basic facilities. Mr. Ibrahim is doing a renovation of the entire property. Half of it is already done. We were provided a big room for four people but it is big enough to accommodate 6 as well. Interiors were done fine with well built and renovated swimming pool. This home stay has all the basic facility that one may think of in a budget accommodation. It is a little away from the main town and that is what makes it a perfect getaway. Located amidst coffee plantation with greenery all around it is like staying in the lap of nature. They take you to a small trek of about 4 km in their plantation. Trekking up the hills in the coffee plantation is an experience to cherish for (especially for people who are not into trekking on a regular basis). Private waterfall is like icing on the cake as it allows you to freely enjoy as per your frame of mind since there is nobody from outside and you get complete privacy. Food cooked by Mr. Latif (cook and caretaker) is just a winner. People looking for high end /extravagant stays may not like this place but for budget family/group travelers this is a definite go-ahead. Considering the price factor, above mentioned features and the warmth of the owner it is the best place to stay in Coorg.

Simple and Comfortable Stay amidst the laps of Beautiful Nature Simple and Comfortable Stay amidst the laps of Beautiful Nature

We were a group of 16 people. We visited Coorg in the month of August. The stay was simple and comfortable. The surroundings were amazing, lush greenery all around and the morning fog made our stay look like a beautiful painting The staff was very co-operative and friendly, Mr. Ibrahim especially was very helpful and kind, he gave us some good inputs on sight-seeing. The food was very tasty, especially the Veg Fried was delicious... The camp-fire & the swimming pool in front of our cottages just made our stay memorable. They have their private waterfall and coffee plantations, but due to heavy rainfall we could not visit those places....but I m sure they would have been worth a visit In short if you are visiting Coorg and are searching for a great stay with co-operative staff, tasty food, good amenities and beautiful surroundings, then look no further, Coorg Coffee Hills is just all that put together

If you're looking for room quality and amenities then this place is not for you. Rooms are very basic but sufficient for nature lovers. Location is so apt that you'll hear the sound of birds and waterfall 24*7 and no human created sound whatsoever. There's an awesome pool with water coming from Spring. Mr Ibrahim, is working on the infrastructure and will renovate the entire property this winter so I would recommend to visit the place before that to enjoy the rawness. Food is one of best part as manager cum chef Mr Latif is doing wonders.

We friends wanted to hangout just before cloud turn up into madikeri just before Summer end up. I just came to know about CoorgCoffeeHills from one of my friend who regularly visit this, he had explained the service and I just realized that when we visited this home stay. Service, Food, Cleanliness, Spot etc... everything was more than expectation. Owner Ibrahim took care of all the things and regularly check out the facility to ensure comfortness. Taufiq and Huli ;) are good at cooking and they will prepare everything as per your taste. Taste buds will certainly have a festival spices. All major Madikeri, Bylakuppe hot spots were just a 30min away and we were able to coverup most of the things in just half a day. Surprisingly Private falls and Swimming pool will help to relax to a greater extent. Thank you Coorg Coffee Hills for best time @MADIKERI...

Demo Trip If you are looking for a scenic beauty , then this is the right place for you. One side it has coffee mountains and on the other side you cant resist beautiful valley. Place is meant for beauty & peace, so dont expect much luxury. However I found facilities to be just fine. Dont miss morning trek , waterfall and morning safari (speak with Ibrahim the owner regarding this). Book it in advance.
