Location The hotel is conveniently located and just about 5 min drive from Raja Seat. Although there a no restaurants near the hotel, There are a number of restaurants within 5 min drive from the hotel. Parking There is no covered parking, Need to park in front of the hotel, The road in front of the hotel is narrow, just enough place to park 3 - 4 cars. Front Desk We had a horrible experience at the front desk. After driving about 5 hrs from Bangalore, we were tired and wanted to check into the room at the earliest & refresh ourselves but got a rude shock when the hotel front desk refused to allow us to check into the room as he had not received payment from TravelGuru. I had booked the room 3 days before check in and payed the amount to TravelGuru and it was a confirmed booking but still the hotel frontdesk did not allow us to check in till he recieves money from TravelGuru. I had to make 2 -3 calls to TravelGuru customercare escalate the issue and finally he allowed us to check in. All these took 30 mins we were already delayed and tired and this was the last thing we had expected. It was the worst experience of the trip The Room The room has just basic facilities. not very spacious, the linens were not very clean. Hot water is available only in the morning. The water was very muddy, brown in colour, hardly felt like taking bath in that water. Food & Room Service There is no restaurant in the hotel. Nearest Restaurants are 5 mins drive from the hotel. There was hardly any room service Overall I would suggest not to go for this hotel though TravelGuru especially after the experience we had while check in. I would suggest to go for this hotel only if you have no other choice and want a budget hotel and expect nothing more than a place to sleep otherwise please avoid this hotel as much as possible

Hotel is not bad. but far from places to visit. No hotels in and around. Room is clean but bathroom is not maintained properly. No water provided.

We booked room through stayzilla and made payment online. After reaching there they said they have not received any information from stayzilla nor payment from them so they cannot provide room and if we want room we have to pay 1500/-rs. After showing a confirmation mail and order number they checked with the team and they already received payment and then they said they have room of rs 850/- which they can provide. They asked for additional charge even though they received the payment. Also there is no facility of hot water nor drinking water. Rates are on basis on there mood. No person available to communicate in hindi. Appeal to every one never visit this hotel. You will surely regret. No management in the hotel and only few children there to take care of hotel.

I booked a hotel room stay by I got the confirmation mail from them stating the confirmation and hotel contact details. At the last time they canceled the room and allocated for some one else. The hotel fellow didn't pick my call also. We reached coorg by midnight 12.00 AM and was left out with out room. The man who contacted me was named Azeez. And we couldn't find any alternate at that time. At last we slept in the car itself through night and found a hotel stay by morning, Many thanks to Coorg Regency for allotting hotel room by the time. Pls dont do ever like this for anyone in future. Even the assistance from Stayzilla was very poor.

It is a lodge . We took a triple bed room . It had 3 very small beds aligned together. Room was decent with TV and hot water facility. The hotel people will try to suck money out of you by offering guides with a very high price , you should not go for it. They will say that your 4 wheeler cannot go to abby falls and will try giving you a jeep for 1800 INR but a normal tata indica can also go to abby falls. During rain one of the bed was getting water leakage from top so we had to shift the bed . In All it is a very normal hotel , we booked it because all other hotels/homestays were packed.

No Parking..horrible irresponsible hotel people........ There is no 'interesting part' of our stay, as my experience was horrible. We travelled as a family (inlcuding parents) and after a long and tiring journey when we reached the hotel expecting a check-in, we were shocked by their response. Though we have booked the rooms well in advance paying the total amount and showed the email confirmation about the room availability from makemytrip, they refused to provide the rooms stating they have not received any information or payment from makemytrip. They also told that there is a large amount due from makemytrrip, which forces them to reject such online bookings. We tried calling the makemytrip customer care and had to fight for about 1-2 hours to arrange a checkin. There was lot of confusion and nothing was set up properly. Finally when we checked-in, we have lost our valuable time and had to cancel our plans for the day. What we expected to be a pleasant and awesome trip with family turned out to be a terrible experience only because of the irresponsibility of makemytrip and hotel team. We came to know that two of our friends also had a similar experience with makemytrip and one of them had to drop the plan, cancelling their stay at the hotel booked. We have decided not to deal with makemytrip anymore and never recommend this site for anyone.
