We stayed in family cottage which is having ample space. It has a dinning place which having a great view of hill. They having there own estate which is really wonderful to roam around. Food was also great. They have provided food as per our request also.
One of the best place to have fun. I stayed for 4 days it was a very nice place at reasonable price ... V enjoyed a lot it's fully surrounded by coffee and water falls .... I feel like I have to visit one more time
I would say this resort is one of the best in Coorg. Me and my friends were looking for a budget resort, and we finally got this under our budget. The resort is located in a right place. The hill view is awesome and the private waterfalls gave a boost to our day. The room was clean and spacious. Food is also good. Overall it's worth to stay in this resort and It was a wonderful vacation we had in Prashanti resort. I would say this is the right resort to land in if you're around madikeri. Cheers...
It was really great experience at prashanti hotel. Food, Location, fire-camp and friendly staff.
And most exiting part is private falls which owned by prashanti hotel which brought the main excitement in our journey. Here you can experience commander jeep ride, coffee estates and beautiful falls.
Overall i can rate prashati hotel 4.5 / 5 rating as compare to other hotels in coorge - madikeri.
I was on a family trip to Madikeri on the last week of December 2016. We were 6 of us including a child of 5years. The first day we stayed at a plantation near Bhagamandala and came to Madekeri town. Nobody was interested yet to go back to Bangalore. So we did a quick search and found the phone number of Prashanti Resort. Told them that we need to spend a day at the resort. They gladly invited us to the resort. It was around 12.30pm. The resort was fully occupied, except for a deluxe room. We said we were ready to adjust and stay in that room. We were guided to the room which was 200 mts down a slope from the office by one gentleman, Mr. Raju. The room was beautiful and large, the balcony opening on to view of a man made lake and the sound of slow flowing stream of water.
The child said that he wants to stay at the place for his full life. The view, the chirping of the birds and the signal less mobile transformed us to a different world feeling. We readily took the room and asked them to prepare it for us. We told them that we will come back in 2 hours after having lunch at Madekeri town. Mr. Kiran, the operation Head at the resort adviced us to stay back in the resort and that he will instruct his team to cook a fast lunch for us. Our non-veg lunch was served to us in 1 hour flat and was one of the yummiest food I have eaten at any resort. We took some rest after lunch and the walked down another 200-250mts to the stream. The water was very cold and spotlessly clean. We played in the water for almost 2 hours. It was only our family, the water and the beautiful nature around us.
The evening was badminton, Frisbee, and some walking around the resort. I had a long time with Mr. Kiran. He is the perfect person at the right place. Some guests had some high pitched conversation with him, but he was very courteous to them and even got some special food request of their cooked. That made me feel very nice. We are a sea food loving family and I requested Mr. Kiran to prepare some fish fry for us. He asked me the quantity and I said 1-2 pieces each would be great
The dinner was a buffet spread out for all the guests. It was not a lavish spread, but a very tasty meal. And to our surprise, we were served around 30 slices of fish. All the cooks were at our table, asking us to try their specialities. Since we had an elderly person in the group, Mr. Raju sent the food down to the room.
To enjoy the morning, I got up at 5am. The scene outside was heavenly, no pollution, birds chirping to welcome the sun and the sound of water flowing. This place, as the name suggests is "The Highest Peace". I never expected my phone to disturb me, nor I wanted the waiters or room service disturbing me. It was peace and peace....
The breakfast was a buffet again, with the normal south Indian delicacies and hot steaming coffee. By 11am, we were ready to bid goodbye to the resort and the team. The whole team stood at the gate to bid us bye, but not before placing some beautiful flowers on the dashboard. This is one trip me and my family are not going to forget in a long long time, Thank you Prashanti Resort, Mr. Kiran, Mr. Raju, Mr. Manoj(Cook) and the whole team.
