Travelling is not only about enjoyment but feeling secure as well. This place will just NOT have this. Going with the previous reviews, we zeroed in on this resort but didn't know that this is going to be the end of our fun times. Travelling all day around Madikeri, we reach to this place for our night stay. Sitting around the camp fire without music. Disappointed, we started talking and singing amongst ourselves when we see that a group of about 10-12 people barges in. We were a group of 17, a mix bag of male and female. This group started yelling at us without even saying a word. Terrified, we asked them politely as to what is the problem to which these guys started pushing us and yelling abuses. Since were outnumbered, we couldn't do anything but trying to talk things out. Suddenly we see that one of the friend of us has fallen down holding his face. It was found later that he was hit under the eye. Somehow, we managed to wind up that terrifying situation with us getting in the rooms and locking ourselves from inside. None of us could sleep that night. It was really unfortunate to have felt that helpless. Lot of questions banging our heads, what if they would have started a fight (which they certainly did by hitting one of us but we had to back of being outnumbered)? What is there were only girls? We just were having some good time around a campfire and this is what happens? And all this time, there was no manager to be found anywhere. Morning we went to the manager's office only to hear him say that he cannot do anything. Situation was so grave but his attitude made it worse for us. Angry and frustrated, we came back to our rooms, packed and left. We go on outings to get some rest from our daily jobs and if this is how we will be experiencing things, Who is going to choose outings?
