We got what we were promised. Veerabhoomi is truly value for money. Hotel staff was courteous, prompt and took good care of us. The folk dances and artists were highly talented, entertaining and made every attempt to spread kannada culture in a good spirit. Must visit place for every localite and tourist visiting karnataka. Tips for hotel management :Some old bedsheets and towels could be replaced with new ones. Hot water facility was not available in standard cottages.
room was not up to the mark. Staff in the hotel was very helpful. Average property.
Only Cultural activity in the evening is good other facilities are very poor and not worth.
Bathroom toilets were horribly maintained with the toilet closet seat detached in the rooms. Food taste is average. Food varieties available are very limited. Towels & soaps are not changed automatically.

We had stayed with a group of friends few days back. Deal was good. Was upsold to Deluxe room. Food was good. But the fish curry was really of bad taste. This place is suggested not for families. They have a good pool and evening activities for all.
The staff was very friendly. We asked for change in the cottage and they provided, actually provided the new cottages as they were available. Enjoyed the food. The cultural programs in the evening is plus point to the facilities provided by them. Overall enjoyed the stay in Veera bhoomi resort.
Veerabhoomi has lost its charm... It badly needs an overhaul. Foul smelling tomoto soup, rubbery paneer, boring cultural program and faded resort welcomed us last week. It was fantastic 8 years ago... Loads of cultural activities, yummy food, awesome rooms are all gone.... A change in management is suggested!!
I am not too happy with the stay here. After paying Rs 2300 even after goibibo discount of 65%, this resort didn't satisfy me enough. Obviously it was not for me who would be looking for some luxury. If we just ignore cleanliness of rooms, this resort has many things to offer. As I said, this is strictly a heritage resort. So mostly they have standard rooms and wooden cottages. I am not sure about wooden cottage, but I stayed in standard rooms which were not so good. It was full of bugs and ants. I asked staff to clean it but didn't get any response. Most of staffs didn't understand neither English nor Hindi which made us too difficult to communicate asking for any service. Bathroom was also too dirty. Resort may be a perfect destination if you want to spend some quality time with your family. They run cultural shows in the evening daily. They also setup campfire and music. It has a big and clean swimming pool. First time I saw a resort where you can park your car just outside your room.
As the name indicates,we thought of a patriotic feeling before. But the overall experience was nice. Resort entry is like entering fort. Swimming pool is big, neatly maintained... The cottages are good.. The resort in surrounded by trees/mountains which us a pleasant stay.. Resort is fully surrounded with greenary lawns without concrete floors.. Bathrooms are neat and hot water facility is present. The cultural programs from the surrounding village people are good and entertaining... Manager Megharaj is very polite, was helping for any needed things.. I recommend this hotel for a family visit..
