Excellent Property in a Good Location Excellent Property in a Good Location

Myself and my family stayed here for two nights in the month of December of this year.We have came here after visiting Nainital. This resort is around 35km away from Ramnagar which is main city of Jim Corbett National Park but from travelling Ramnagar to this Resort is worth watching of scenic beauty around the road. The Road is also good and we had no problem to came here. As a member of Sterling Holidays,we have stayed one Studio room equipped with small kitchenettes and other facility. The scenic beauty around the resort is incomparable around all corner and specially near Restaurant where you have seen the River Ramganga is flowing nearby. Restaurant of resort compare to small and food option is also limited but behavior of Restaurant staffs are good and there serving capability also good. We have doing day safari in Bijrani Zone at afternoon time which is around 27km from the resort. You have easily done three safari from here one each for Bijrani,Dhikla & Durgadevi Zone. At last again I am given to gratitude to all resort staffs for wondering memorable stay in this Resort.

I visited this Resort in the month of June 2017. We travelled from Kausani, Ranikhet to the resort and lost our way as we reached around Ramnagar from where we were directed a place called Mohan from where we had to take a left turn to reach the Resort which is around 13 KM. Hence travellers should keep in mind Mohan location to take their journey ahead. Once we reached the resort we were extremely surprised to see this majestic resort nestled amongst some mountain ranges overlooking a river with a bridge across. The rooms are majestic with all amenities including good air-conditioning and LCD television. The resort also has a swimming pool and a game zone, every evening there are activities organised such as Karaoke, painting etc along with outdoor games like Badminton. The resort houses a restuarant and serves good food along with Room Service. And yes I saw many travellers grumbling that the actual purpose of their visit was Corbett National Park was far away from the resort however travellers can book their safari from Durga Devi Gate which is around 6-7 KM from the resort hence the travel fears can be put to rest however it is advisable to book a safari from Dekhala gate where there is a better chance to view the majestic tiger. It is advisable to book a Safari in advance however even the resort authorities can book it for you. Each of the room has a kitchenette along with Microwen and so travellers can prepare some food if they desire to do. The resort hence is excellent for those who want to embrace nature and spend some time in nature's company as the view from the room is worth it. Please ensure that you visit the river below and take selfies on the bridge across the river. Overall the resort is recommended...

Good resort in a bad location Good resort in a bad location

The resort is a decent one and the rooms are well appointed with a balcony. The hills around have been denuded of greenery due to landslides. There is a sofa cum bed but we did not use it. Electric kettle and tea, sugar and milk sachets are complimentary. There is a microwave too. Wi-Fi does not work and mobile phone connectivity is very poor. Credit and debit cards are not accepted. There is an activity centre eiyh table tennis and carom board. There is a swimming pool too. The service is good. I have rated it as average only because of the location. It is 35km away from Ramnagar and if going on a safari to the Jim Corbett Park is the chief reason for coming here it is not worth it. By the way, the road to the resort is in a terrible condition.

Amazing hotel with beautiful views Amazing hotel with beautiful views

by Jasdeep386 on October 25, 2017

Please be advised that it just shows Jim Corbett National Park but is actually a 1-1.5 hour drive from actual Jim Corbett Park. The roads are steep sloped with not so good asphalt. But the hotel property is excellent. Beautiful cottages with wooden work, view of the river. There's not so much to do around if you are staying here, so basically you can just relax in the lap of nature. You can coordinate with front office staff for arranging day tours. They do have a recreation room with TT, Chess, Carrom boards, TV. Nice swimming pool with recliners. Beware: They do not have any room service. So if you are planning, please arrange for some packed food by yourself.
