Overall a good hotel. We generally prefer government run hotels as they give the best value for money. Hotel Manimahesh was not an exception. The rooms were large, with wide glass-covered windows providing an excellent view of the greenery and hills. The rooms were spotlessly clean; the linens and towels provided were clean and dry. They change these on a daily basis. The bathing area were hygienically clean, however complimentary toiletries were very basic and minimal. During the vacations, this hotel sells on MAP basis. Breakfast and dinner spreads were elaborate and tasty. My father cannot take spicy foods due to oral ulcer, they took extra care to provide spice free foods such as boiled egg, boiled lentil and vegetables, milk and cornflakes for him. The service staff deserves a "Big Thank You" for this.
