COMPLAINT - DO NOT UPLOAD There was only one problem, even after i received the confirmation from Travelguru customer call center, the hotel ppl were saying that they hav no confirmation, specially one mr. brinal was rude and is not fit to work in the hospitality industry, the lady at mumbai slaes office of the hote ms sujata was also very inefficient and acted helpless, but mr, rathees pillai was very helpfull and a great human being, my observations may be commuinicated to the hotel

Service was friendly. Room was comfortable. Food was ok. The butter when served should be well refrigerated.

The Hotel was very nicely located. They should clean the windows of the room facing the sea.

We were a family of 9 (6 A & 3C) travelling together and decided to spend the night in Daman. We got 2 rooms and I paid a lot of money to stay in the highest Category Room Suite Room and Sea Facing Room because it was a weekend. The guy who booked me in was happy but it stopped there. We arrived at 8.30pm and had to complete a myriad of forms because we were foreigners. There was a DJ and nightclub type setup in the outdoor restaurant area which closes at 11pm. The lady (Rita) who checked us in was kind enough and 20mins later we made our way to the rooms. The rooms were dated, had mould in the taps and the bathroom in the suite room had an awful sewage smell. It was the first time I refrained from brushing my children's teeth in a hotel. We made our way down to the restaurant only to find tables with empty dirty plates that hadn't been cleared and we couldn't get a seat. I asked the waiter and he didn't really care at all about helping even though we were hotel guests - basically anyone can come and eat and dance at the restaurant and they don't make bills for people if they decide to go and dance, so we had to wait until bills were paid. I had to tell them off to get a response. Same happened with breakfast which is possibly the worst breakfast service I have seen in any hotel I've stayed in around the world! No one working here seems happy, they don't give hotel guests priority and what once might have been a great hotel, is now just a shambles really. Housekeeping asked me to speak in Hindi because he didn't understand english?!? What do people who don't know Hindi do? Locals might like it, but it significantly misses the mark by international standards. Won't stay again and I passed all this feedback onto the manager who just said sorry. They don't care really - if you have kids don't stay here, if you want a clean bathroom don't stay here, if you want great breakfast, don't stay here and if you want to be served on time and expect great service definitely don't stay here. The only thing we and the kids enjoyed was the dj and open pavilion, but you can always come to Cidade without staying in the hotel itself.

Stayed there for 3 nights and it was decent. Rooms are good but i think the place is over priced. Hospitality was good. But they really need to improve on their breakfast menu and quality. Rest dinner was decent.

Place looks better. Service was just fine. Nothing Special value considering the price & the name. We went during slow time., But parking on premises could be a problem during busy time.Restaurant has great view of Ocean.

Stayed at this hotel on a 2 nights package with 34 colleagues and was a great time. This hotel is on the sea shore, the food is good, wonderful staff who were very helpful and hotel clean. Rooms are spacy and clean. Has a swimming pool and open restaurant and Disco facing the Sea....

Sitting at the Cidade De Daman AC restaurant and writing this review.... Tonight has been the worst ever dining experience in the last few years and I regretted insisting my husband to have dinner here. On a Saturday night, this place was overly crowded and the staff seem to have never experienced the inflow. To my dismay, the housekeeping staff was serving food.... The same guys with who I struggled during the day to clean my room. At 9pm, the open restaurant was full and we were asked to take a table at the Lounge... The tables were not ready and we had to request 4 times for menu card. The water was again served after waiting for atleast 10 more minutes. The order was taken - we ordered for a drink, a starter and a pizza. The pizza arrived followed by starter. The food was on the table but there were no plates, no spoons, no folks, no tissues and no one was bothered! Again we had to ask for these things which took another 5 mins to arrive - the food was just lying.... They took another 3 requests to refill the glasses with water. The drink then arrives after the food was almost over.... Asked for menu card another time 10 mins ago and we are still waiting.... So decided to write the review The Paneer 65 sucks and appears unfresh and over-cooked, the veg pizza and drink were just okay. On top of this, they said... It happens if the people are more!!!! Extremely frustrated... My advice - never visit this restaurant if is crowded... The staff cannot handle.
