We entered the gate, room walls stained, reception is like garage. the promise of the superior deluxe, shown on the internet and in reality, was far to each other.
the experience of fellow travellers, arguing in the reception , told us many stories. if anything , we saw and experienced , was really pathetic.
my recommendation : never , never to step in this hotel.
breakfast : no good. interior of room : no good.
i was on official visit to vapi, we have decided to stay at daman, The property is good with the prize they offering, many families were their, but few things which disappointed me that they charge everything u want, from ice cubes to swimming costumes & Car Cleaning from outside has been priced Rs 100. The front end manager is not concerned for pleasant talking may be you will not be warmly welcomed here bcoz its a budget hotel, He is not bothered whether u are choosing this hotel or not, he said go on where u find fare deal.
Except all those thing, The food is good here, the room service guys are polite, rooms are clean & Deserve the prize according to the location & demand.
Visited in the month of May 2016. Food is good but had bad experience in the room where the aircondition stopped working at 1am. No immediate support provided hence had problem. Swimming pool is good and need some good staff for improvement of services, beach is close by hence convenient to walk through.
There are only two worthwhile beaches in the city of Daman - Jampore and Devka. The first is a total no-go for tourists planning to stay near the beach owing to absolute lack of options. The other Devka offers a variety of options but few can match this place for its location and the price.
The beach is a stone's throw away from this property and one just needs to cross the road to feel the rippling waters of the Arabian Sea. With the price on offer significantly lower than competition, this property ensures tourists round the year.
With a decent swimming pool, ideally placed for younger ones and those learning to stay afloat in water, this property is one of the best options for a budget traveller in Daman.
We had booked 3 rooms through Expedia and the entire process, booking as well as check in, went off smoothly even though all the 3 families were to arrive from different cities and at different times.
Talking about the rooms, we got rooms in the newly built / renovated wing , so the rooms as well as the furniture was new, no issues with that, there was a LED television and a window AC to keep us comfortable.
The beds were comfortable and the sheets, blankets and towels clean.
We were provided with soap bars and drinking water bottles (limited)daily.
The room was cleaned when as instructed when we went out the next morning.
The bathrooms were decent without any leakages and had cold and hot running water.
The only issue was that these new rooms and the bathrooms were very small in size, barely leaving any space besides the beds. Even the bathrooms were very tiny.
You could even hear what the person in adjacent room was talking on his/ her phone.
But if you want bigger rooms, they have cottages which I guess have bigger rooms.
The swimming pool was nice and clean with a lifeguard on duty, also they have TT table and provide badminton racquets for outdoor entertainment.
For indoor entertainment they have a discotheque which from 7.30 to 9.00 in evening acts as a game room wherein games like tambola etc. Are conducted and from 9.00 pm onwards the party begins.
The poolside restaurant serves some good food veg as well as Non veg. The menu has enough options. Even the buffet breakfast is decent though I would love if they can have eggs
included in the buffet.
The service does become a bit slow during peak hours but who cares when you are on a holiday.
They have valet parking facility too.
All in all I would say it's a very good place to enjoy your holiday.
