Hotel Was good and over all experience was nice. Staff is co-operative and food is also nice.
Well it is said that the first impression is the last and that's what happened. As we took bus to reach this place and didn't carry our own vehicle, we thought that we will reach this place by their regular check in time but instead we reached much earlier at around 5 a.m. but we were welcomed without any hesitation. Well this place though a bit far from the beach has it's own charm. You will wake up to the morning with the birds chirping and can enjoy a lazy cup of tea at the sit out which is given to every room be it lilian or Mangolia. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the ambiance and the decor was tastefully done. The cottages are surrounded by trees and flowers of almost every variety. The staff was very warm and friendly and I actually mean it as I found them personally assisting every guest and that too with warmth and smile. Not to forget the food served was delicious and was served with affection. All in all I would say that you should absolutely visit this place even if you are not a beach lover because you can simply come here and relax and feel like not going back as we did. Keep it up guys.

We visited The Fern Samali last year on a special occasion of Marriage Anniversary and to my surprise it turned out to be a super hospitality in a small town of Dapoli.I am do visit Dapoli once/twice a year and just love this place and this time we decided to make the day more special by staying in The Fern Samali resort. Mr Basudev - GM of the resort is just amazing personality and he ensures that the guests are treated to best and takes personal care of special occasions.Basudev arranged a projector and big screen in resort to ensure we don't miss IND Vs Pak cricket match and special snacks added more fun. Resort rooms are huge and have super view with good swimming and spa facilities.Restaurant is nice and food quality is excellent. Special feature of rooms is the Terrance balcony where a wooden swing creates more fun with traditional wooden sofa. Housekeeping staff is cooperative. Local Konkani dance was also an attraction in Ampi theater ; which one can watch while having dinner. Resort is eco friendly and open bathrooms make it different than other resorts. All in all a lovely property to enjoy the vacations with family and friends. You have nearby beach of Ladhghar which one can visit in morning and evening time as well for sunset. In the evening time you can visit Shri Gajanan Maharaj temple while coming back from Murud or Harne beaches. Must visit is Kadyavarcha Ganpati. Awaiting for my next visit to The Fern Samali Cheers Abhishek
We stayed in this hotel in the last week for January for one night. The room was very good. The architecture, the interiors were very tasteful. We had a valley facing room and it was quite peaceful and serene. The amenities provided were sufficient and of good quality. We had dinner as well as breakfast at Zhilan. It was good. For Dinner we had traditional maharashtrian vegetarian food and it was quite tasty. The staff service was prompt and helpful. Internet connectivity was a bit of problem, but considering that the resort is in the interior, it did not matter much. We would definitely visit this resort again.
I went with my family and in-laws to Dapoli. This was the second time that we were visiting and for a change opted to stay at Fern resorts, Samali. The resort is large and spacious. Given that we were visiting just before 15th August, it was not crowded. We stayed in the Magnolia rooms. Rooms were large and spacious. They had a beautiful balcony with a fantastic view. My in-laws especially enjoyed the place. They have a small farm with roosters and ducks. That kept my little on engaged for quite some time. Food is decent. Other entertainment facilities were quite okay. Service was appreciable. Overall, a great place to stay.
Overall stay was OK, Location is at tip of hill which will give you peaceful stay. Very weak signal for vodafone and hotel wifi was very slow. Light outside room was not working,Tata sky was not working but hotel team repair later. As resort is at remote location, you have to order dinner in hotel restaurant only.. Food is also so so. Pricewise also it is expensive...
We had gone there on a weekday to avoid any rush of the weekend & as expected the hotel didnot had much occupancy, we were upgraded to aster room which had a breath taking view, the restaurant food was awesome, we had all our meals in the restaurant & not even once we were disappointed (please try the zunka/bhakri), the staff service was outstanding, sampada in the front office was outstanding, we travelled in the month of jan so the temperatures were great, so out n out a full paisa vasool for the resort. Be carefull while choosing the route to dapoli, the one on google maps is long and the road is in pathetic condition, in some stretches there is literally no road, take the old goa highway till Khed and take a right for dapoli thats the best route. Now coming to the destination part, dapoli as a location has nothing to offer, there are beaches nearby but if you have traveled internationally or even Goa the beaches over here will be a disappointment, dirty beaches & fully crowded. It is suggested for people who want a peacefull atmosphere and donot need much of sightseeing. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND RETURN
