my complaint is not the hotels but Travel bad guru I booked ten days in advance and when I wanted to cancel four days before they ( travel guru) took all my money including the tax . In simple words it is called robbery. I will never book with you again and tell all my friends this perfidy.
very very bad experince in my life for sumit and travel guru both.
The hotel is a bit far from the hustle and bustle of DarjeelingÂ’s crowded mall road. Its almost at the top of the Darjeeling hills and hence offers a stupendous view of the Kanchenjunga peaks. The entrance to the hotel is slightly congested, and may disappoint you at first sight. The hotel is designed on the lines of a chalet and is different from the conventional hotels we have in India. The absence of a parking place is sorely felt. The suite room where I stayed was absolute value for money though. The rooms were equipped with a comfy bed and flat panel TV and DVD player. Also the suites are provided with a heater and coffee maker, which definitely complement the Darjeeling weather. The bathrooms were small and bit disappointing though. The food at this resort is good. The breakfast spread was sumptuous and palatable. One good thing, worth a mention about the suite room is the fireplace, which serves the purpose to ward of the cold and also is definitely enjoyable. The staff were quite helpful and are ably managed by Mr. Sushil the resident manager. I will rate this resort as a value for money option to stay while at Darjeeling. Some minor changes will make this hotel really better.
The view from the hotel is just "great". I wish they had made the rooms a little more functional. For example, the bathroom should have been vented outside. The wet area and the dry area of the bathroom should have been properly separated.

Overall good as per price ! Positive: mountain view from balcony , very nice staff, food Negative : no liquior available in restaurant ,need to buy from outside ! Needy to wala 10 mins for chaurasta but that's fine as this hotel in height that gives good view of mountain and kanchanjangha Improvement: hotel should maintain more hygiene and cleannes
Very welcoming staff, amazing views of the kunchangonga peaks. Clean and tidy rooms, good services. Good food, though limited options during breakfast. Got to taste the best of Darjeeling tea to start the day.
The view of the Kanchenjunga from our suite room was exquisite. The room was large enough for 3 people and it was duplex with the king size bed on the upper floor. Rooms were clean and maintained properly. Service was however a little slow and the morning complimentary breakfast was not good at all. Overall, a stay worth the money.
Summit Grace has a awesome view of the Kanchenjunga and away from the hustle of the town. We received a warm welcome at the hotel and prompt service and care from the staff. The food is very good and fairly balanced and reasonably priced. The basic comforts like warmer and hot water were spot on. Also to mention our host Manjita was quick to help with our lost n found problem. Potential areas of improvement are, automated power backup(manual at the moment), flower garden landscaping at the common area.
I had my best stay at summit grace. Manjita was very helpful and also all the staff was very friendly and they made my stay very comfortable and lovely and i would surely recommend this place to all others and my friends.
