It was just wonderful staying at Shaheen bagh a few years back. We have visited the place twice and had an awesome experience every time. It has a swimming pool where u can relax and the kids can also join u. Love the interiors and the food. Its a gud place for readers who just want to laze away with their favorite book....They have an amazing collection of books. Would love to go back again......
I visited Shaheen Bagh for 3 days/2 nights with my sisters and parents and it was absolutely amazing! The hosts and the staff were very welcoming and warm throughout our stay. Everything from the fresh air, the incredible natural beauty, the lush gardens, the myriad array of flowers and the delicious food was a delight! I loved that it was such a small place affording privacy. The whole place is beautifully designed in a traditional Indian style; each piece of furniture is gorgeous. My favorite part was the breakfast patio - eating in nature, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery.
From the first moment you enter the property it feels like heaven. The staff is very accommodating and the owners are really awesome people. They are very hands on with making your experience a truly memorable one. The rooms are luxurious and the property is set in a beautiful location from which you can see the rolling foothills of the Himalayas. Mr. Arun and Mrs. Sandhya ensured that we felt very much at home while still giving us all the facilities of a Five Star hotel. There is running hot water throughout and the food is to die for. I had a wonderful time with my family and will definitely visit again. The part that made the stay truly memorable was the people running the place. The service is exceptional.
The property is good . Surrounded by greenery . Though not much to do around ,other than the caves ,must see . Pros Good view of hills from the room . Surrounded by greenery . Good staff . Room service good . Cons Overpriced . Food very expensive . Rooms expensive , one would get Jaypees in the same price , that property is much bigger and more scenic . From Delhi it is almost 280 km , with not much to do around ,seems a little waiste . Jacuzzi is chargeable , hard to understand ,why , when there is nothing to do around ,these things should be complimentary . With few guest they don't supply 24\7 hot water . One needs to request to switch on hot water !
All aspects of this resort are excellent; be it peaceful location, great ambience, breathtaking views, well maintained property, spacious rooms, exceptionally delicious food and above all the great hospitality. The very best part is that my 2.5 yr old enjoyed herself. Her comfort and meal needs were taken care of very well. Truly value for money. Would recommend this to anyone planning a trip in Dehradun. Special thanks to Mrs. & Mr. Arun Gupta for making our trip memorable.
