Expensive, but worth it for a short stay. It is some distance away from Lower Dharmsala. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Restaurant is OK .Not crowded as the hotel is small. No TV in the room. Good for enjoying the peace and quiet with Tibetan ambience.Staff are nice and credit cards are accepted
The room is in Tibetan style but very comfortable and pretty! Staff was helpful and kind! The guesthouse is just right in Norbalinka Institute. I feel I living in the park. Good place to stay while you are in Dhramshala!
Stayed with the family. Unique place to experience with Tibetan themed rooms and not just a typical stay. The Temple and Japanese gardens with the Dhauladhar mountains in the backdrop were something to feel. However, a pack of dogs hanging around there could be bothersome. Also had a chance to view the life of the Dalai Lama through the pictures from his early childhood to arrival in India and thereafter. The Doll museum depicting Tibetan way of life was worthwhile. And they have workshops to learn Tangkha paintings and woodwork if one has the time. Loved it.
Overall was perfect. staff was helpfull. The have got nice and clean room. Location is little bit far from Mcload Ganj The place has got complex inside such as own monastary and cafe, shops and so forth.
Everything was excellent. The room, service, ambience, cleaniness, etc all perfect. We enjoyed our stay. However the food left a lot to be desired. In breakfast & dinner most items were not available.
