The location make it a unique place to stay and relish the experience. However, rooms are not clean enough as maintenance is way below average. Bed sheets are dirty and the jug for drinking water is there since inception. Size of rooms are found suitable. Food and service is ok. Prices are moderate considering the place.

We stayed there for couple of days. The hotel is very close to the sea couple of min walking and the rooms are decent and the food is OK, you can get a view of the sea from the roof. The worst part of this hotel is its service. The manager will say no to everything you ask for and that too with a rude behavior and most of the staffs are same.

It is a nice hotel near the market area in old Digha. the hotel is behind the hotel blue view. Sea beach is very near to this hotel...(2mins walking). Food quality is also very good. room services available. Staffs are very helpful and cordial in nature.

This hotel has really nice exteriors. The rooms look nice and comfy. But don't get fooled. Its actually an awful hotel, like most of the hotels in old Digha. The nice exterior and interiors owes to the fact that its newly built. They say the hotel is ''Sea Facing". Well the hotel in fact faces the sea, but none of the rooms do! The hospitality was awful to say the least. Bed sheets, towels, pillows were full of stains. They have a one towel per room policy! The food was awful too, but edible. They seem to run short on staffs. Whatever few staffs were available were always irritated if asked for anything. But they were eager for tips nonetheless. Hotels like this seem to run on the fact that, no matter what, people will come to Digha and they will need a place to stay. The managers aren't very keen on customer satisfaction. I doubt if they even know that there's something like that. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Ashamukti.

We booked this hotel from kolkata main office for 15th of August. At the time of booking the representative stated that there is scarcity of parking space but we will arrange for parking at a nearby place and also provide facility for driver lodging. But to our dismay when we reached at the hotel the manager simply denied and said that there is no provisions of parking over here and they will not be able to provide any drivers accommodation. Next when we booked the hotel at kolkata office we clearly asked if there is any complimentary food available. The representative stated that only breakfast will be given as a complimentary, but again it was denied by the hotel manager. We had a long conversation from digha with the kolkata office regarding breakfast at that time the representative simply denied of any break fast will be given as complimentary. She was yelling over the phone that it was never stated by her as it was peak season and it is impossible for them to provide breakfast. Lastly the food service was awful neither were the the staffs behavior. We stayed for two days and only one towel was provided which was also dirty. The bed sheets were all stained. I would not recommend anyone to go over there. There are many more options available. at this price.
