The hotel is excellent in all respect. The rate is also very moderate according to their standard. The cuisine was superb. The only drawback was the dropping at station. They promised complimentary pic up and drop if u book for more than 2 nights. I had 3 nights of booking. the pick up was smooth but after dropping the driver denanded Rs 100/- as tips. After much negotiation he agreed on Rs 50/-. The car no was WB 30 2577.The management should look after this.

Very nice staffs and hotel rooms are also very good. The hospitality is awesome. The staffs are very much cooperative. Price of the rooms are also reasonable. Food of the hotel restaurant is also good. Would love to stay here again.
This was our 2nd time back at Hotel Rohini International and unfortunately, this is not what we were expecting. Let's look at the pros and cons. Pros : 1. Excellent staff- We cannot say enough about the staff at this hotel. They were always so nice, so accommodating. It was an absolute pleasure to interact with them. Everyone from the reception staff to the restaurant staff were so warm. Not a bad word about them. 2. Okay food- The food was decent, nothing more or less. We generally ate Bengali food, with a bit of Chinese thrown in there. The vegetable and fish items were generally good. However, the mutton left a lot to be desired. Eating those pieces of mutton was like trying to tear rubber with your teeth. They were rock hard and simply inedible. Cons: 1. The Room- We stayed in what is supposed to be the best room in their hotel : The Superior Family Suite priced at 2800+taxes. It was a huge disappointment. The room was quite big, with 2 double beds but not much else. There were no tea-coffee kits, no shaving or cosmetic kits...none of that. The TV was a little Onida LCD with extremely blurry picture. The walls had black marks and stains on them as well. Very disappointing. 2. Awful Bathroom- The bathroom was absolutely abysmal. That was the WORST part of our stay. I sincerely implore the hotel management to renovate their bathrooms. My God, it was small, dingy, dirty with no exhaust fan and an awful stench. We were lucky we only stayed 2 days, otherwise we might have had to move out and run because of that bathroom. 3. Location- I wouldn't exactly say this is a con because this hotel doesn't lie about it's location on it's website or wherever. It is a fair distance away from the sea and the hotel owns up to it, which is good. However, the fact remains that this place is way inside a lane, quite far away from the sea with no sea views whatsoever. This was, as said earlier on, our 2nd time back and the only reason we would think of coming back here would be the excellent staff. I am extremely thankful to them for trying to make our stay memorable. However, unless the hotel management seriously considers upgrading the rooms and most importantly, the bathrooms, we probably will choose somewhere different next time.
My opinion somehow differs to most of the reviews and ratings that this hotel has received on Trip Advisor. The hotel is no doubt relatively cleaner than average properties at Old Digha. The rooms overseeing the road has nice but small balconies. Unlike smaller properties, Rohini has a lift of its own and can accommodate about 3 to 4 cars inside its premises. There's no provision for chauffeur's accommodation, though this can be arranged at the adjacent lodge for about Rs 300 / night for only stay. The restaurant is not too cool and outside food is not allowed (unless you hide and bring it in decently) but can serve decent Alu Paratha and Tea for breakfast. However there are umpteen food options at road side shanties and restaurants around the place and towards the Old Digha Bus Stand. You can also buy mutton, chicken or fish from the nearby market (10 mins walk) and hand it over to the road side stall just opposite the hotel and they can cook and pack it up for you. I would suggest that you buy some Pomfret, Prawns and Desi Chicked if you are a non veg foodie and have it cooked outside. The major disadvantage of this place though is its distance from the Old Digha Beach which takes around 10 - 15 mins atleast and is inconvenient if you are travelling with you family.
It is a nice restaurant in low cost. Provides free wifi, room service, parking area. Also has its own restaurant. I liked it very much. Service is also best. Hotel is nice and clean rooms and wash rooms
I visited this property first time.... The property is really good one in old Digha. The staffs are very courticious and helpful. In very first day we had lunch in their restaurent and ordered fish for our lunch but the fish is pathetic and we complained regarding this after tht they fully take care of our food and after we did n't complain. But i think if they little bit focus on their food quality and taste it will be best. And menu should be little ellaborate. But i must say who wants to stay in quite and peaceful place than only choose ROHINI INTERNATIONAL. But my good wishes for team ROHINI INTERNATIONAL......
