The hotel is very good. It is in calm location, very close to Colva Beach. Service is very good, there is a Veg restaurant very close to the hotel. Pool is maintained very well, staff are flexible enough. Enjoyed the stay in Amigo Plaza along with my wife and 2 kids for 3 days.

I was 50:50 when I booked this hotel for 3 nights but to my surprise everything went smooth right from the time I checked in. I checked in at 6am much before the regular check-in time but they didn't charge me any additional money, I booked 2 AC rooms and both were clean and neat with large bathroom (no bathtub), we enjoyed a lot at Swimming pool and the beach is just 3 min walk from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for family and others.

The front desk guy was not cordial, and certainly did not know how to speak to customer. There were no soap provided, unless asked. Overall I have liked the rooms/cleaniness. But did not like power-cut, front-desk guy. The hotel should be at the max a 2-star, and not 3-star

An over rated, over priced hotel An over rated, over priced hotel

by Ships0401 on January 17, 2017

We stayed there for 6 days .The only good thing in the hotel was their service. And, the food was average. I don't understand how this hotel is rated 4.5 at tripadvisor. I booked my room through makemytrip. As soon as I kept my bag on the the table of room, their were cockroaches on my bag within a few mins. When I complained at makemytrip , they offered us another room which was better and with lesser cockroaches. Their furniture and upholsteries were not at all maintained and were in a poor condition. Swimming pool was not clean enough. You don't expect all this when you pay Rs. 2600 a night . The other rooms were worst as one of the couples left the hotel within one day due to the amount of cockroaches in their room. This is really pathetic.

Best parts Hotel cleanliness--good Location -good. Walkable distance from colva beach and bus stops Room-good enough for 3 adults. A double ac rooom was taken by us. Staff- good. Smiling staffs and good attitude amung them. Sleep quality- very good Swimming pool-nice Ambience&cleanliness-good Some minuses that they could avoid Towels soap packages can be kept before one requests. Can provide a news paper . Wifi range and speed -poor Complimentary Breakfast -poor choices. Restaurant-not available.but can get it done through some one else...that works at some time as they wish...its tough to get a bed tea or coffee in the morning..wait till 8.30.. Parking-i don't think they have the facility. We didnt drive. Toilets dont have a cloth holder...important for Indians This hotel can grow a lot. Thank you for the good time at Amigo.

A Very Memorable Place! A Very Memorable Place!

by Gita M on December 21, 2016

The service is very professional and can extend to friendly. Staff is responsive and helpful. I'm sorry I forget the names but each and every one of the young men at the counter were genuinely helpful. The young man who serves tea is also efficient and hardworking and the tea was great. Breakfast smelled great and I'd surely try their cooking if I go there again and I'm very tempted to do so. There is also a handyman who is very prompt and efficient. The room is quite basic and we'd have loved a single big bed and not two pushed together. The sheets were rather small. There is no electric kettle in the room which is ok for the price and all things taken into consideration. The airconditioning was good. The curtains could be bigger to block out the light but sleep quality was good. We were in a quiet corner room and enjoyed the sense of privacy. A back door opens to a little verandah and while the view is not so exciting it is private and provides a nice place to sit out in now and then. There are enough electric points to charge phones and the TV was good. I liked the bathroom. It was clean and quite modern. There was hot water at will. They provide soap and towels. Linen is clean though a bit frayed. The room is very near the swimming pool and had we stayed longer or had more money I'd have loved to have breakfast by the pool as I saw families doing. The pool was clean enough for me but since it was cold weather to me, I could not enjoy that delight. However, families were having a lovely time in the pool. There is an outdoor place for breakfast which is charming and one sees families enjoying a leisurely meal there. A nice old dog lounges around near the entrance and adds to the smiles. There is a pile of books at the reception area and I love that! The reception sometimes has people waiting to check in or waiting to leave. It is a homely atmosphere. There seem to be many rooms tucked away into corners and even upstairs. This would be an ideal place for a longer stay with family. It's very very close to the beach and there are lots of great places to eat at within walking distance. Staff will recommend good places. You can choose to laze in your room, reading, watching TV or swimming or you can just stroll around in any direction and find natural beauty, lots of shops and eateries and services and of course the sea! What I liked best was the sense of privacy and the professional manner of staff. It would have been nice if they had accepted debit card payments as we were there when demonetisation was announced but then we saved money! It is a wonderful place for almost everyone on a holiday: families, children, the elderly, couples, friends... It might be a little humble and quiet for party animals and lovers of high end living.

Everything you could hope for a beachside hotel in Goa Everything you could hope for a beachside hotel in Goa

by PankajSaxena on October 2, 2016

I was heading to Karnataka with my wife and decided to stop in Goa for four days. I chose Colva beach and this hotel showed as one of the best with best ratings. I booked the room and reached there around 12 at night. The staff was very friendly and the room service was also quick. As it was night, I could not judge how far the beach would be, but I knew it was quite nearby. The next morning, we woke up and when we went for the beach, it was just around the corner. The beach here is excellent and we enjoyed for more than 5 hours. We stayed there for four days and the rooms were quite excellent. The room service was quick and the concierge at the reception was quite friendly. The room was very clean and the bathroom was also very spacious and super clean. The decor was also good. Lights were excellent. They were for all moods. The balcony was also quite excellent and gave the view of the homes of the locals, which to many would not be a great sight but to me it felt that I was living in a home actually. Salcette, the area in which this hotel is, houses very old communities and I loved going through it. Everything was near this hotel. Sagar Kinara, the restaurant was also a few feet away. There are many other expensive and fancy restaurants nearby. Overall it was an excellent experience staying there. And as I booked the hotel through makemytrip it was also super cheap. I give it five stars in all regards.

Good Hotel near the beach Good Hotel near the beach

by VinitaChhatwani on September 9, 2016

It is a nice place very near to the beach with good service and supportive staff. The beach is 2 mins walking from the hotel. Rooms are descent. The best rooms are the AC rooms with pool view from the balcony. The hotel does not have a full operational restaurant so the breakfast package is no good, but you have good restaurants nearby from where you can order food.
