Really great and decent place to stay for family. Polite people and good service. We opted for breakfast and food was really good.Rooms have enough sunlight and air. Vagator beach is nearby.
I would rate place based on 3 factors
1. Cleanliness- 4/5
2. Personal Space (no distrubance) - 5/5
3. Service -5/5
I really dont know from where should I start, first of all, this is not a resort at all and the pictures shown in website/MMt do not match to the actual sight. Its a very small property which literally doesnt even have space to roam around, I dont understand how are they calling this property as 4 star resort, Its a 2 star property.
I have been in countless hotels/resorts but never found so pathetic suffocating room and BED. Bed has spring mattress which literally makes you jump everytime you sit on it. The room which was given to us was the worst I have stayed till date in any of the resorts. It seemed the furniture is just stuffed in without even thinking about the space. one cant watch TV as there were 4 five feet long wooden rods at corner of so called vintage themed bed which interfere with tv viewing, almirah could not be opened as it interfered with the tv table, whole space was pathetic, bathroom doesnt have drainage near tap but it goes all the way to other side of bathroom, never seen such drainage system in my whole life, Geyser did not work, we had to call them several times for small things which they should have seen before providing us the room, Were we in a hotel or at home where we have to see every small thing which needs to be fixed and call them? Corridor lights were very dim and most of them did not work, complementary bottles were only given when asked, not a single day they provided them at first.
Breakfast was terrible and expensive, Parantha was uncooked and burnt from either side, toast on other day was hard as anything, mix sauce pasta ordered was white sauce and the waiter said Mam its red sauce. Pathetic!!
We were given another room after multiple requests which had bathrom light not working, geyser not working and the cheery on cake was when bathroom got locked from inside at midnight, none of their staff could open it , by luck we opened it with our scooty key othewise they would have asked us to pee I dont know where.
There were many more issues , m quite tired of writing. This resort ruined my trip, pillows were so hard that they gave me neck pain, Even after changing they were hard as hell, no evening activity in this so called 4 star resort. Adjacent resort Emperor was far better. The road is the worst in whole vagator area, this resort is quite far from main road with shabby surrounding and broken road.
I paid 20000 plus for 6 nights, total waste of money.
Giving 2 star just for polite nature of people there, otherwise a total Zero
Resort seems fabulous and the staff found so generous. Always attentive to all guests requests. Recommend to stay longer . Deccoram mentained so nicely. Full value worthy . Sandesh, manpreet ,Shweta,Gurudas all staff member so professional.
what really stood out about our weekend stay at Amour Villa in Vagator was the service, Gurudas, Sonu all were really helpful, and even though we were a demanding bunch, they serviced us well unflinchingly.
the hotel has a few villas a rooms all overlooking a small lawn and comfortable pool. A small cabana (near the pool) became our hangout place for music and snacks.
the rooms themselves were simple, clean and ample. We stayed in the 2 2-bedroom villas with an adequate living room downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs and a small kitchen.
location wise - its nicely tucked away from the main road bustle, yet walking distance from little and big Vagator beaches, Chapora fort, Hilltop market and several easy restaurants.
We breakfasted on omelets, aloo puri and loads of tea.
A great vacation and we would easily return there again
This is a cool place to Stay at Vagator Beach. Very co-operative staff. And perfect home for vacation. Rooms here has Interior with 3 decor options of African, Chines and Europeon. Lovely place. Vagator is place if you want to see real Goa rather than going to visit Bagha and Calangute.
