2nd time we have stayed here. This time for 10 nights. The rooms are cleaned daily with clean sheets. The restaurant is very good. The staff are very friendly and always pleased to help. What a great spot.

After a haunted stay at La LA land we landed here referred by a local. It was right on the beach we had a wonderful luxury cottage right facing the beach. The cottages are simple yet luxurious.the only difference is the price tag which is way less compared to our previous stay. The sunset from the beach in the evening was awesome with a coffe with my girl. The patnem beach is wonderful with lot of budget stays.

You're not getting a five-star hotel here. you're getting a room on the beach with good service, amazing food, the best breakfasts, and stunning views. You're right on the beach, which is one of the most laidback beaches in the area. You'll also a good distance from the slightly busier end but are in walking distance of shops, restaurants etc. Can't recommend it enough. Visited Dec 2012.

terrible place, run away terrible place, run away

Hotel room looked good and we rented it. Cleaning staff were friendly and hardworking. however management clearly were not interested in guest satisfaction. Free wifi was not working. We had cockroaches in the bathroom, visiting rats, walking over my foot, scratching my toe, trafficking through the gaps on the walls, going in and out of our and neighbouring bathroom, where a family with toddler were staying, Both those vermin were much larger in sizes than we know or expect in England. Even worse still, one day, while it was on, one of the three blades of the ceiling fan broke off and as a razor sharped jagged edged murder instrument missed my granddaughter narrowly, smashing into the wall, just a meter away from her and bouncing immediately to the other end of the room. if not missed her, the speed, size of the metal blade and the many broken jagged edges would have caused an unrepairable damage to my granddaughter, who, at that moment was alone in the room (I have photos on my phone from the broken blade). By close inspection we saw the connection to the fan was terribly rusty. when we talked to the management about this incident and, although they muttered not sincere sounding apology, they were painfully blase about the accident and their room maintenance. They replaced the blade, however they wouldn't even offer us a drink or complimentary dinner. We decided to leave that place on the very same day. I reviewed their restaurant negatively too, because the food was mediocre, the waiter kept looking into my 14 year old granddaughter's cleavage when taking our orders, without the need to hide his behaviour, management looking on to this terrible behaviour from their desk and right next to them, from the kitchen windows, the staff staring at the guests insistently when coming in and going out. i have been travelling in India for two months, stayed in 8 different hotels, this was the only terrible hotel, not very cheap either. Just stay away from this place.
