I am a tourist travelling around the world. I am quite a sustainable tourist, I have travelled to many other resorts however I have never come to this unique one. This resort was very sustainable, everything was recycled. staff were friendly. They had great amenities. Very very comforting. It was so calm. My resort was a 20 minute walk away, I was able to walk barefoot there! Knowing its India, there were hardly any cars! So the amount of pollution was quite limited.
Right on the Baga Beach.Fernandez & her Staff have been very helpful & good. The in-house restaurant may not have a big list of options to eat but whatever they have they customize it as per your need. Overall a very good experience. This was our second time stay here & would go again. Keep it up Fernandez.
I was bit hesitant to accept that even after staying the South India for over 10 year, I had never got an opportunity to visit "Goa". Yes, Goa, I could hardly find any friend of mine who can share the same tragic for never been to Goa. Out of sudden, I think my stars took a turn and one of my friend made a sudden plan to visit Goa for 3 days. It was an unplanned and unexpected trip that came to my way. He quickly managed to book a hotel in Baga beach with some discounts and the journey was supposed to happen in 1 day. Though I was bit tensed on the sudden plan, the excitement inside my mind had wiped out all the tensions. We both the families has Swift car and my friend offered his one to be our journey mate to Goa. The Journey Day: Hotel was booked, bags were packed and car was filled with Petrol. We started our journey by 4 AM in the morning. As it was the first Goa trip for me any my family, we all were excited to limits. For initial 4-5 hours, my friend opted to drive and the rest I took the steering. The Road condition from Bangalore to Goa was really good. But we paid hefty tolls of around 900 Rs to reach Goa. Did 3-4 pit stops in between and finally reached Goa at around 2 PM. The Hotel: We stayed in a hotel called "Bia Do Sol" next to the Baga beach. Waoo.. We couldn't take our eyes from the mesmerizing view of the Baga beach. Next to the resort, there is a river too... What else I could ask on that day ! The rooms were beautiful and to my shock the hotel people had upgraded our rooms to Premium for free !!! woohooo ... There was a swimming pool right next to our rooms. We quickly unpacked as I couldn't wait to see the beach and explore Goa. I actually forgot all my pains which I developed for being seated in the back seat of Swift for 600 KMs. We had a quick bite of snacks and rushed to see the beach. My 5 year old daughter and wify was much excited seeing the surrounding view. We played in the water for sometime and realized that we killed good 2-3 hours in the beach. We could realized the time only after seeing the sunset. Came back to the room and again we 2 families were getting ready for night view of Goa. Someone told me the Goa never sleeps. Yes, that's true, the night life, pubs, people, crowd, the lights, the restaurants, beer, alcohol all of these suddenly took a pick after the dusk. Though our wives were with us, me and my friend found bit difficult to keep our eyes out from those beautiful girls roaming in the streets. Better come back to reality and we started exploring Goa. We eat in the street and roamed around in Anjuna beach. Tired and exhausted, we finally returned to our rooms almost in midnight. I ensured to pick a bottle of alcohol to have a small post family sleep party with my friend. Post dinner, all our family slept off except me any my friend. We both opened the alcohol bottle and started our so called mini party. Once we reached half the way, my friend suggested to go for a night ride on his car. Though I was bit drunked, I could still judge that after few pegs, everyone becomes a Michale Shoemaker. I oppoed to his proposal of going out and decided to continue drinking there. After few more pegs, I don't remember what happens next, but woke up only next day with a mild hangover. The crowd in the day is very minimal there. Only family and uncle type people. My wife and and my friend's wife decided to go for shopping. Hella !!!! We really didn't want to take the pain of being a bag holder next to wives. Somehow managed to convince them to go alone. We choose to stayed back in the hotel as a baby sitter. Once they reached, we all played in the pool for a long time and then had our lunch in the resort. The cost of food is very high in Goa so, you need to be bit calculative if you are going on a budget trip. Alcohol is the only thing which is dam cheap in Goa. We again drank in the afternoon and this time our wives also accompanied us. It's very difficult in Goa to stay away from Alcohol and good food. The Last Night: One thing we had decided that we would enjoy the last night to the core. Checked couple of pubs and started looking for the best budgeted pub. One of our friend suggested the "LPK" pub, Love Passion Karma. Its a huge pub and we paid 800 per head for unlimited food and alcohol (IMFL). There is an option to keep your child safely and you need to pay extra for that. After dropping our child the night care center, we entered the pub. The music, crowd, dance , alcohol ... all were perfect and enjoyed till 1 AM. Came back to room and couldn't remember how did I reach our rooms. May be our wives were bit responsible there :) We packed our bags to leave Goa and had our breakfast in the resort itself. I must have to say that the hotel offers unlimited breakfast with variety of menu. We gulped a lot till neck and rushed to the car. After paying the FnF in the hotel, we headed to Bangalore. We both the driver were tired and still managed to bring all to our home safely. The memories of that trip will always remain green and we would be planning many more such trip in coming years. Now i can proudly tell my friends that I been to Goa :)

After reading the recent reviews I was a little skeptical about booking this hotel again. But I had two senior citizens (my parents) and a toddler (my son) with me so wanted to go to a known property. And it proved to be a great decision!! The biggest advantage,as everyone has said,is undoubtedly the location. It is situated just a stone's throw away from Baga beach,so we enjoyed the beach to the hilt.Every morning after breakfast and every evening we were on the beach!! Another advantage of the location is that it is the end point of all the public transport buses. We went to all the nearby beaches and markets by those buses..it was very convenient. Most of the times we ate at their restaurant.Food was very delicious.Almost everyday we had fish and it was heavenly!! We found the food better than the much hyped Britto's in Baga and at par with the Ritz classic in Panaji. And it was cheaper! Our room was quite big.We were 3 adults and a kid in a room but it never felt crowded.Housekeeping was good. Although we never entered the swimming pool,we spent quite a time at it's shore just splashing water. It was a delightful experience for my kid. The service was very prompt too.Every request was met within no time.Once we found that the mosquito repellent liquid is finished at 11.30 at night!! And within 5 mins they replaced it! Special mention to Ms.Antonetta..she was Goan hospitality personified!! She arranged for our airport transfers, guided us about the local marketplace, gave us good advice when we were confused, even looked up the internet for liquor transport guidelines for us.And everything with a broad smile!Thank you so much ma'm for your great service!! I would highly recommend this hotel to everybody.
