Comfy, cosy beach home Comfy, cosy beach home

by Kkyle122 on January 5, 2017

We really enjoyed our stay at Brendon's. We stayed in a beach hut towards the back of the property which was comfy and quiet. The restaurant has lovely food and the most accommodating staff (especially Ravi). Even during the busy Christmas and New Years period they managed to take care of everyone well. I would definitely recommend as a place to stay or somewhere to eat. All round great experience.

Nice wooden cabins Nice wooden cabins

Had spent the valentine's day weekend at this place with family and cousins. We had booked the premium wooden cottages set on the first floor above the restaurant. The location is excellent and you can just wake up in the morning and take a short walk to the sea. The rooms were nice, air-conditioned and clean. The one hiccup was the bath/toilets, the water used to gather at different areas since the makeshift toilet flooring wasn't done properly and honestly it was what stopped my from rating this property excellent. Palolem is our annual valentines day vacation and compared to the other beach side joints we have stayed at in the past, this place is way better. As for the restaurant, they served pretty decent food for an affordable price compared to the other restaurants in Palolem. Overall it was a good experience and we'd go again, I only hope they improve the restrooms in the coming season.

Relaxed, affordable and friendly for the budget savvy Relaxed, affordable and friendly for the budget savvy

I loved Brendon's. Named after their 2nd son, this is a family run business and the family and staff alike take the time to chat and become familiar with you. The huts are basic, double bed with mosquito net, cold water shower (which is all you need all year round), balcony to relax. The restaurant is decent, we actually had one of the best meals in India here, however this was for a family function (that all guest were invited to!), unfortunately these items didn't seem to be on the menu, though there is a great variety at affordable prices. Prepare to wait for meals, standard for the area. At 500rp a night, this is a great place to spend a week.

Very Average! Very Average!

by Alex B on January 12, 2016

The location is great, right on Palolem beach, however the beach huts are average at best. Fairly old, noisey, and overall hugely underwhelming. Restaurant staff are friendly but the lady that runs the place is very unhelpful. Tried to overcharge us on the food and drinks bill also, which was unfortunate. Plenty of better places to stay along the beach, probably at better prices!

Drunk owner, bad property Drunk owner, bad property

by Subhadra D on November 16, 2015

We went to this place 10 days ago. Stayed here for a day. At night around 9:30 pm when we came back to this place after having dinner we found the owner was drunk n was watching footfall match. He wanted to fix a TV and do some drilling work for connection in the room we were staying at that time. Since it was too late we asked him do that the next day. He started fighting with us verbally and asked us to leave the place that moment (palolem is closed by this time in night). We managed to stay that night but could not sleep as we were too scared. Next day we left early morning. They didn't even apologise. Also in afternoon there was no water and electricity for about 3 hours. For whole night till 8 am there was no water. The the rooms move/shake if you flush or someone walks little fast

Demo Trip The bungalows closer to the reception/lounge-area nearby the beach had the best Wi-Fi coverage, the further ones had quite poor coverage.

Demo Trip First floor sea facing rooms are the best.

by YVignesh on February 21, 2015

Demo Trip Go for the sea view rooms, especially the one on the lower deck to the left of the restaurant.

Demo Trip Rooms are good if you are ok with wooden on beach huts...else opt for concrete structures little inland...
