I had booked for a three day stay at Casa Amarilla situated at Dona Paula in Goa. The location of the hotel is a bit away from the roadside. I had booked a Studio deluxe suite and although I was expecting a living room along with a bed room as that is how it is at other hotels where they term it as suite. But the room is pretty huge and enough to accomadate a family of two adults and two children. The staff is good and the manager is a pleasant guy always smiling and informative. the stay was pleasant and the only drawback is lack of eating and dining in the hotel. For breakfast, they have made arrangements for it to be delivered to the room in tiffins but it does not give the same effect as eating in the hotel itself. One cannot be sure as to how much quantity one is going to eat as one does not know the proportion of the food and also the taste beforehand. On speaking to the manager, I was told that they are developing some dining options in the near future. other than that the place is good and if one wants a nice cosy place for a holiday in Goa for the family to rest and relax and not very far from the citi centre, then this is a very good option. Also the rates are quite reasonable and on the lower side in a place like Goa during the festival season and that is a plus point.
