We were 4 friends that stayed in the rooms on the ground floor. The best thing about this hotel is its location, proximity to Candolim beach which is the cleanest beach in Goa. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Although we got them cleaned again as soon as we reached there. It was good on the part of the management that they assisted. It was a peaceful stay. The wifi was not so good. The food was average. I request the management to work on the quality of food and room service. Other than that, worth the money!

Location, value for money, proximity to shacks on Candolim beach, good food and restaurants, local scenes. Also hassle free arrangements made by the couple who maintain the home. Our visit was in Dec 2009. Thanks Abraham & Elizabeth

i booked this hotel from goibibo for my vacation and found the location to be perfect. since we went all out from kolkata to enjoy on the beach the resort was located on the beach to our satisfaction. the resort have a very nice and clean though a little bit small but a fantastic pool to boost with. And the food was delicious to taste, there cook was Mr Prasanto a bengali guy and a very good cook. A very satisfied vacation we spent.

i booked this property by mistake from mobile app. Immediately after booking , i have realized my mistake reading some of the reviews from trip advisor. the amount was non refundable, so we gave it a try . we visited the property and with the hope that it should be livable and we are ready to take this. The moment we enter the reception , we understood the whole story , visit to one of their best room made us shocked.. old furniture, smelly room, no basic amenities..we pleased them that please refund us the money and we dont want to stay here. the guy as the reception was good and understandable and helped us exchanging it with another property at calangute which was still digestible. thanks to that person and this 3 stars belong to him.

We were welcomed by some smooth talkers at the reception at casa dos reise resort which set our expectations soaring high. Little did we know that it was the calm before the storm. We checked into one room filled with cobwebs. Initially it was impressive as the room had a sea view. The horror started when we entered the washroom to realise hat there was no water. On contacting the reception, they said that the water must have got over and they would start the motor. Water started trickling in after an hour in a threadly pace. There was still no sign of hot water and on contacting the reception we were informed that it would come shortly as water has to fill in one tank and move over to another tank. After another 1 hour, hot water started coming in snails pace. Frustrated we decided to go out without freshening up. After giving a good shout at the reception we were shifted to a second room.where more nightmare waited to unfold. The TV remote was missing. Smooth talker no 2 informed that the previous guest's kid had broken in and that he would arrange for another remote. When there was still no sign of the remote inspite of 3 reminders, we approached the reception who said that the TV did not have a cable connection and it would be ready in another 2 days time. Trying to make best of the remaining part of the holiday, we tried to freshen up. And lo behold water woe continued here. When we asked for assistance the plumber informs that the taps and showers were dysfunctional in that room. After another bout of tight blastings at the reception, and constant talks of all rooms being full by the smooth talkers, we were allotted another room (the third one) which thankfully had water and cable. the real shock came in when instead of being shameful for bad customer service we were asked to pay extra for the new room which we didnt give in to. Except for few flying cockroaches flying all over us and stinking towels and bed sheet, we spent the night there. The last straw on the camel's back was when the taxi which was supposed to arrive at 5.00 AM (for which an advance was taken by one of the smooth talkers) never arrived even after one hour and the driver had switched off the phone. The night porter at the reception took the room key from us and locked us out with the least interest of helping us find a taxi . We walked for 2 Kms with feral dogs chasing us before we found a taxi which charged a bomb to ferry us to the airport. With God's grace we made it just few seconds before the boarding gates closed. On waking up the smooth talker ( who had taken the advance for the taxi) to explain our plight, he sounded apologetic and promised to refund the advance in our bank account. It is 5 days since and we still await the refund which would never happen. It is sad that inspite of knowing that we are a family, they never bothered with luggage service and we looked like jokers room hopping. One can forget sound sleep here as the place is filled with howling dogs. It is indeed the most memorable trip in the most infamous way we have ever had. I would warn people to avoid this place like plague if they dont wish to spoil their holidays. The place seems to be managed by a group of professional crooks who are only interested in extracting money and lying through their teeth and hoping that they would never get caught.
