We stayed at Casa Fiesta for around 11 days in late December to early January. The resort is more expensive at this time of year due to the popularity of the cottages over Xmas and NYE. We spent our first night in one of the huts above the Casa Fiesta restaurant on the beach, however, we found that the noise from the restaurant was too much for us, so we moved to one of the cottages set away from the beach for the rest of our stay. Our cottage was basic, but comfortable. It had a double bed and bathroom. We kept the bathroom shut all of the time we weren't using it as it had gaps in the ceiling and floor. At night, little bugs can get in and twice, we even had a frog in there (and frog poo in the morning!) Nevertheless, the shower was always hot when we needed it to be; which was a first during our time in India! The location is great, whether you're in a hut on the beach or in the cottages set a little further back. The cottages are still only a one minute walk from the sand and are also right next to the main street, should you wish to do any shopping or get a tuk tuk. The staff were always happy to help when assistance was requested (eg. organising taxis) and this was much appreciated.
