Hotel location is very attractive as it is located near Candolim beach. We all stayed in standard rooms. All the AC rooms had attached bathrooms with running hot and cold water facility. The room facilities provided in the room include internet, mini-bar and TV. We ate fish curry at the hotel restaurant. It is far from the airport and railway station. and TV. There was no power back-up in the hotel. We had to spend two nights without electricity. Fighting with mosquitoes for two night was a nightmare. We use to advice reception to clean up the room. If you forget to remind them that means your room will not be cleaned.cleaned.

My partner and I stayed at Casablanca for 2 nights and found the room clean, the staff helpful and friendly, and the location super convenient for the beach and for the restaurants, shops etc on the main road. Breakfast was very good also. I rated sleep quality 3 stars because of the noisy dogs in the neighbourhood.

The best to stay if you want to be near a clean and beautiful beach. It's at walking (500mtr) distance from candolim beach. This is one of most beautiful beach in Goa. If u don't have this moto, simply it's not for you. When we checked in, response was very cold. We felt like entering in a ordinary hotel. Rooms are good spacious with balcony but on ground floor. I felt they try to allocate first floor rooms to foreigners only. Room furniture is very basic. In place of sofa there was a cemented slab with mattress. No wifi in room. It's available only at restaurant. Food taste was good. Morning breakfast options were limited but sufficient. But no service for tea or coffee during breakfast. You have take yourself. Readymade coffee - not available. Staff was cordial specially Dev. Please don't keep big expectations. Just go for stay nd enjoy beach.

Visited hotel 10-12 Feb'17 with kid and hubby, even though I had booked standard they provided Free upgrade to higher room ... and that room with balcony was just Awesome.... The hotel is located very near (2 minutes walk) happening candolium road and just 2 minutes from beach. The swimming pool is well very maintained however timings in morning are bit odd i.e. from morning 10am to evening 8pm. the food was somewhat Ok not so great specially breakfast was not so good.

Casablanca is an ideal budget hotel. Situated halfway down a road leading to the beach, it is far enough from the traffic on the main road and the noises from the beach shacks. Our room was larger than we expected with a small fridge, two ceiling fans, an air conditioning unit and a very large comfortable bed. All the grounds are well tended with lush plants everywhere. There is an excellent pool and the poolside restaurant offers a wide choice of mainly Indian dishes with an additional tandoori menu on most nights. The hotel caters mainly for Indian nationals so dont expect full English breakfasts although the chef will cook eggs any way you wish. Some mornings they serve masala dosas to order which are highly recommended. There are safe deposit lockers available at reception with dual control locking far more secure than the digital locking room safes found in other hotels. Poolside food and drink is served by the hotels excellent team of young lads who will provide towels for use with the sun loungers. However, during our visit there was just a single parasol around the poolside, so if you had to be quick to bag it early in the morning if you intended to spend a few hours there. The running of the hotel is expertly supervised by the always immaculate Amida. This is a great value budget hotel so don't have unreasonable expectations. There may be the occasional power-outage, dogs barking in the night and not too much hot water for your morning shower, but if you are slightly adventurous and looking to experience a little Goan life in an excellent, value-for-money hotel, the Casablanca Beach Resort is an excellent choice. We loved our long stay there.

Location wise, You will not get better place to stay in candolim. Perfect for direct access to beach, street shopping, well-known restaurants of candolim, car-bike rent. It is basically Stay-Inns type. Overall property is very compact. But rooms are spacious only if you opt for Suite. The other category room, which is terrace type. is quite small. Property has only a pool and small restaurant. Rooms, bathrooms and other amentites are quite clean. House keeping Service is also commendabale. Swimming pool though visibly clear, but has lots of insects floating around Note: - No toiletries provided...except lux soap and towel - All rooms have dim yellow lights...creates a sad atmosphere - Food is ok...opt for only indian food - B/F ends sharp at 10:30 AM - No lockers in room - Check A/C's before you select your rooms Overall Not bad at all for 1 night or 2 night stay on a budget trip and want to spend most of your time outside resort.
