We had a lovely stay in this hotel. The food here tasted extremely well. The maintenance was very nice. We liked the activities that they organize here, they have sports like table tennis, archery etc., they were really exciting. I will recommend it to anyone.

This property was no where up to the five star category. The room given to me was terrible. In fact my bedroom at home is far better than that. The service was terrible and food arrangement was the worst. They used to kept me waiting in que for hours to get food. Location was also not great. I will never recommend this property to anyone.

I booked Zuri Varca White Sand Resort n Casino in Goa.When we checked in at the hotel, at the reception, there was no one to attend us, the welcome drinks were not served to us. Moreover, they took more than an hour to give us the room although we have booked our room one week in advance. We ordered for room dining, the food came after an hour after we ordered the food. The service of the hotel is pathetic. Since we had paid for a 5 star resort, the service should be excellent instead it was not upto the 5 star standards. The mini bar inside the room was not working well.. Overall experience was not good at all. The hotel is no doubt excellent with large rooms, nice views via balcony, all facilities which a 5 star hotel should have, this hotel has it but it lacked service which is extremely important....

It was a very comfortable stay at Zuri. We were upgraded to a premium room and our door opened right on to the swimming pool. The pool is large and it is like having a private section just to ourselves. The broken tiles in the pool need to be repaired fast (which they are in the process of doing) Room was beautiful and clean. No bathtub in the bathroom. Staff was excellent and went out of their way to look after us.Specially the Chef and Basant at the coffee shop. Hotel is very child friendly with a park and an activity room for kids. The chef made non soicy food for the kids and high chairs were provided. One suggestion is to have separate arrangement for lunch for the conference crowd and not the coffee shop buffet as it really stretches the limits and leads to long lines at the counters for lunch. Property is located on the beach which is clean and a life guard is always available. There was no service available at the beach as it was monsoon season. All in all a pleasurable stay. Would recommend this hotel.

Zuri white sands is a lovely resort with access to the beach (though the small bridge connecting resort to the beach was closed). The room we stayed in was nice & very well maintained. Staff in the resort is courteous & helpful. The quality of food was a total let down.

Nice place, but a few shortcomings Nice place, but a few shortcomings

We had been to the Club Mahindra Varca a couple of times and hence decided to try the Emerald Palms this time around. We had planned a 6 nights holiday and now we realise that this is not a place for a long holiday. If you are looking at a 2 to 4 nights holiday then this is okay. Anything more than that, then you should think of breaking it across two resorts. Now, since both, Varca and Emerald, are Club Mahindra properties, comparing these comes naturally. But I suggest not to do that, as the Varca property is way better than this one. I was in Goa to usher in the new year. Check in: As with any Club Mahindra property, this is almost always a great experience. You are made to feel welcome and you can relax in the reception area, sipping onto a cool drink while the formalities are completed. I asked whether I have a choice of rooms. I was told that since this is peak period The room: I had booked a 1 bedroom apartment. We were allotted a room that faced the back side of the property. My suggestion is to go for rooms that look into the property. Also my room had a tiny balcony. I mean really tiny. There was a cloth hanger there and that meant no one could stand there. The room's location was a bit of a let down as it quite to a corner. Now coming to the amenities in the room. The room had a sofa bed in the front room a couple of easy chairs, and a TV. Along with cupboards and a safe. The front room had an attached bathroom as well. The bedroom came with a walkin closet (this was nice) and an attached bathroom. Two bathrooms make it convenient when you are travelling with kids. The rooms are quite spacious. Overall a decent experience with the rooms, except for the location of the rooms. The food: The hotel has a decent sized restaurants. On most days we went for the fun dining as this is always convenient when with families. But the A-la-carta menu is not bad either. The food selection and choice was immense (Club Mahindra never fails you in this department). Plus they had food festival ongoing for each day as a run-up to the new year celebrations. So that meant a different cuisine each day (Goan, Awadhi, Hyderabadi, Mumbai etc). Pretty neat. Vikram, the chef there made sure that he speaks with each family and gets feedback. They will make every attempt to make this a pleasant experience for you. Loved the food and the service. The Amenities: The resort has a small swimming pool, a spa and an activity center. The activity center has video games, table tennis and classes for kids. It also has a fish therapy corner. (Didn't try this. I can eat fish, but couldn't watch fish eating off me :)). Anyways, the staff is helpful and will assist with water sports activities as well. We tried beach parasailing and banana ride. The beach activities are slightly expensive and the timing is too short really. But then it's Goa and that's how it will be whereever you go... The resort lacks grounds and open area which is abundant in the Varca resort. Also the beach is a good 900 meters from the resort. We walked this distance, but it is not good enough like a beach facing resort. Also the taxi outside will charge you Rs. 100 to go and Rs. 200 to come back. That makes it probably the costliest taxi ride in India. :) If you have your own vehicle then you can always drive and park next to the beach. The beach has adequate parking and it's quite safe. So overall, a decent resorts. Good staff. Good food. Lacks play areas / grounds. Away from the beach. Limited options on what you can do inside the resort.

facilities and the property is good. I went there as a guest and stayed 5th to 12th Jan 2017. the only option for transport is the taxi stand outside the hotel and booking is to be done at the hotel reception, there is no other choice. I tried calling agencies renting cars for self driving. but the local taxi agency does not allow that. and this happens for guests at emerald palms only . that is what I was told. I had eventually to pay daily 4 to 6 thousand for taxi. rest is all good.

First of all they never pick the phone, secondly their manager and staff are rude and helpless, thirdly there is no way you can travel from this property. Mahindra is a total cheater and a waste for money. As a traveler you feel helpless having a tie up with them.

Mahindra Emerald Palms resort. We visited the resort from 3rd to 8th Jan 2017.Took off from Delhi by Indigo in the forenoon and landed in Dabolim by 1330 on 3rdJan for 5 nights.Took a prepaid taxi for Rs 1020.00 for a 30 km ride.Halted at Paras circle to buy some wine.Received very ceremoniously at the resort by Mr Shah, who made sure of comfy check-in and apprised us of facilities avlble and discounts for members. The place boasts of a swimming pool, swimming trainers, various programmes to keep you and busy. They have two seat cycles, two wheel electric bikes etc to keep you busy. The Verca beach shows more activity including water scooters, para sailing,swimming,life- guards and watchers. The beach is just 900m from the resort.Taxy for 4 takes Rs100/- for drop and Rs 200/- for return. All the same walking is good.A shack selling a few eatables is there.mostly clean, the beach shows effort of visitors to keep it clean si golden sand is visible. There is special pleasure in ocean swim with waves breaking on your person and then withdrawing. The food ,buffet or a la carte or room service is same. You have to be very hungry to enjoy it.For survival one just needs to eat. There are two eateries just outside the resort. One is good for Goanese food ,other is for Typical Mughalai food, although both are reasonably priced and ok for survival.T here is a taxi stand too, just out side the resort and there are other taxi stands very much in vicinity for taxies or hiring self driven cars and scooters.Since you are 30 km in South Goa ,there is not much activity. For that one has to visit North Goa,where all the activity is concentrated.South Goa visit is for Honey-mooners or old people who visit Goa for relaxation. There are a lot of properties surrounding the resort, for board and lodging but one is never sure of service.Restaurants, however, are aplenty to compete with resort food. A word about the staff at the resort. Its difficult to find more cooperative, humble, respectful, helpful people.I was grounded for two nights with fever and needed medicines from Town. The hotel made arrangements for the same as meds were prescribed by my family physician on phone.Almost every member of staff I met on the day of my departure asked me about my health.I have great regard fir the staff, upkeep of double rooms but regret having no kitchenette,no fridge{one provided works only till room temp only}A provision of mini kitchen, like other resorts,is a must to popularise this resort too.Although I must say this resort was also half full during period of our visit.
