great hotel, best location! close to beach and to local markets. staff very nice and helpful. good food, rooms spacious and clean. nice cozy pool, little small but was great, althogh they are building another pool. nice gardens. rent scooter for good prize. it was absolutely worth the price! dont even think twice on booking here. works for family, couple, friends, honeymoon.
Very nice, clean place. Lovely white-walled villas with a lot of character and nice lawns surrounding it. Try and get Villa Blocks 14 or 15. They are bang overlooking the beach. The biggest plus is its location - It's on Baga Beach, walk down from your villa onto the beach. And very near all other local hot-spots. Cabana, Mambos, Britto's all between 5-20 min scooter ride. And u can hire the scooties right at the gate of CSM. Service, food etc are all average, wasn't inside the villas long enough to find out. TV's in the room are 14" but I couldn't care, never switched it on. Bathrooms are real tight but clean. Bedrooms are neat but strictly utilitarian with cast iron beds. But then its Goa and I don't expect you to worry about anything else but the beach & the beer. Hotel has a small pool, good for kids but not serious swimming. Restaurants etc are not terribly happening, you can walk out to Pescados right opposite or any number of places on either side of the hotel. No shortage of eating places. Calangute is a short 15 min walk along a quaint street lined with street side shopping stuff. In sum, a quaint, convenient and clean place to stay. Definitely recommended.
I booked and payed a deluxe suite and got a standard room first night. The blanket's was very old and dirty. No excuse from reception staff. First of all why do the call all their rooms suites???? Since the rooms are very much not suites!!!!!!The breakfast had nothing to offer except Omelettes and dinner area was boring so the restaurant was always empty. Tried it once but did not enjoy. Stuff was not service minded at all. Last day I asked to have my luggage in a luggage room, because my flight was in evening. There was no luggage room on this hotel....The only good thing was that the hotel is very close to beach. Thats all
This is a beautiful resort with superb layout of the colonial style villas, easy access to the beach and market, lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby, and great rooms. Only hiccup, their reception staff is too stone faced as if they are just not happy to see us there! This even though 90% of the tourists here are foreigners who expect friendly staff. I did not use their room service so cannot comment on that. Otherwise, this is a great resort, very clean, nice swimming pool, the food is good, without a lot of options though, and the buffet breakfast (included with their room fares) is quite wholesome and filling. Overall 4 Stars.
The rooms were decently well maintained having all the facilities. Staffs were very quick and prompt in their work. I had my meal in the restaurant it was lovely in taste. The beach was very nearby to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and collegues.

I'll get the niggles out of the way. I had upgraded the room and emailed the hotel months prior to arrival to ask for an elevated room with a garden or sea (facing) view. I was assured that this was guaranteed with upgraded rooms. The first room was ground floor and faced the back of the complex where the excess/old tables were stored... on to the next room, first floor facing a wall, third room wrong again.... I started to lose patience after this and was then (finally) given the room I had booked. I found the reception staff really slow with a "couldn't care less" attitude regarding this situation. That's where the niggles end. I would book this hotel again in a heartbeat. The rooms are immaculate, beds really comfortable, staff (apart from the above mentioned) wonderful and friendly, the food in the bar/restaurant absolutely delicious (breakfast a tad basic but still nice). The pools, though small, are a tranquil spot to chill for an hour or two. What I really loved about this hotel was the layout and the location. It has it's own little private road to and from the beach. This adjoins to the main road. So great for popping to the shops and lovely bars/restaurants or the other way, down to the beach shacks (Bobby's was our favourite). Obviously as in Goa, the prices are incredibly cheap and the hotel also provided us with vouchers for dinner (we had only booked B and B). So again, although it was a little annoying to begin with, the hotel met all my expectations and more and I will book again. Friends have already booked for NY after I recommended the hotel to them. So, we might see you again, but this time, please give me the room I've pre-booked :D
We have just returned from our Christmas holidays spent in this lovely hotel, The staff are very helpful always willing to make you happy, Food and drinks are perfect, Very reasonable prices and of good quality just a little bit basic at breakfast Apart from omelettes and toast it was Indian style which we always gave a miss, Our room was big n lots room for storage, Tv, A/c and a fridge, Pool area is very nice and a lot different to the picture advertised, Location is perfect with a short stroll onto the beach to all the shacks which are all good to eat and drink in too, Food was freshly cooked and very cheap prices, Staff at shacks were all lovely but we found our second home in boscows, We were like a little family for the two weeks spent there and was very sad to leave, If it's peace and quiet you need There is an area at the hotel called sun decks which is a fab place to watch amazing views of sunsets all thanks to the owner of the hotel he advised us of this and so we went and had a look and was very impressed Even had a phone to ring reception if you needed any food and drinks brought to you, Over all we had a fantastic holiday and a lovely stay, We can't wait to book for next year Looking forward to seeing you all again
Stayed from the 21st-25th of December. Decent size rooms was the first thing that struck us. Hotel's back entrance opens out on Baga beach which is its biggest USP! Service is adequate, staff polite and rooms were always cleaned up and properly. Housekeeping was prompt. Wifi doesn't really work in the rooms which is a big big downer! Bathrooms- Hot water is not always hot and shower area could do with foot mats and better drainage of water. Given the pricing however and we were 3 guys it didn't really matter. Hotel being walking distance to all the hotspots at Baga is a real advantage. Breakfast buffets were adequate though their North Indian fare e.g. Aloo Parathas are bad. Overall decent experience given the location and if one is travelling with friends.
