Overall it was good, but their rules are not so friendly for any freekout person.
Our 3 nights stay in this hotel was satisfactory, a decent hotel.
It was an excellent experience staying in this hotel. The room was also nice, it has also has sunset view from the room which you can see. I like the service of hotel, everything was organized very well.
Nice hotel but I had a bad experience about the sightseeing, where this kind of facility was denied by the hotel people.
The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I am a member of country club since 2011.this is my third trip to Goa and I have always stayed here at country club de Goa.It is a nice resort with all basic facilities and centrally located with all fun activities for kids and adults.Newyear celebration was fun here with DJ and other activities for kids.It was well organized.only bad thing was traffic jam during new year due to heavy rush still we enjoyed it as new year is always fun
Very ordinary hotel, best to skip it. I had constant AC issues during my entire stay. Restaurant service is pathetic, food is okay though. Staff was also not very attentive. I would think twice about coming to this hotel again
1. My wife and I spent 7D/6N at the Club de Goa. Taking our cue from the reviews of the Club that we had read on TripAdvisor we had requested a pool-facing corner room on the first floor; Reception was kind enough to allot us one in Block 2. It was spacious, air conditioned and had two ceiling fans, one over the bed and the other in the sitting area. 2. The furniture provided was more than adequate but there is a need for some renovation/replacement. Lighting was adequate but we did miss reading lamps. A small balcony was attached to the room but we had no reason to make much use of it. What was lacking in the furniture department was a small table or stool on which the telephone could be placed; as it is, it was placed on a sofa. 3. The bathroom was also spacious. An electric geyser ensured that there was a supply of hot water when we needed it. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work; it was replaced with a serviceable one during the latter half of our stay. The absence of a shower curtain meant that bath water spread over most of the (level floor) bathroom; in the absence of a long-handled sqeegee we requested (and received) additional bath mats which we used to keep the bathroom floor dry. The geyser was placed atop the loft in the bathroom; it was covered in dust, an indication of the somewhat less than complete involvement of staff in maintaining the highest standards. What we missed were a couple of clothes hooks on the inside of the bathroom door. 4. In a section of the sitting area we had all that we required to make ourselves a cup of hot tea/coffee when we needed it. There was also a microwave oven and an (unconnected) mini-refrigerator. Finally, provision to wash cups, saucers etc. 5. The fairly large-screen TV was well positioned; there was a large selection of Hindi and English news and entertainment channels to watch. Unfortunately, the Club-provided WiFi does not extend to the rooms; it is confined to the Reception lobby and the area of the swimming pool. 6. The pool itself is of a decent size for a holiday resort and it was clean. tThe setting, with greenery around it, was attractive. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown, the staff would play loud Bollywood-film music whenever the pool was in use; so loud, in fact, that one could not listen to the TV in one's room or rest awhile in one's room in the afternoon. Requests to management/staff to reduce the volume resulted only in temporary relief. The situation was so bad that I wrote to an Executive in the Operations, Customer Care department of Country Club Global HQs in Hyderabad requesting that the management in Country Club de Goa be advised to take control of the situation. 7. The area surrounding the pool is really inviting in the evenings - a good place to sit an enjoy a sundowner; unfortunately, mosquitoes make it impossible to do so for more than a few minutes. It would be good if the management could have some pedestal fans placed wherever appropriate so that guests could find greater enjoyment in their stay. Even so, it would be advisable to carry anti- malaria cream/ other measures with you. 8. There is gym with workout equipment near the pool.. Also a carrom board and a basic badminton court. 9. The restaurant is just beyond the pool; it also accommodates the bar. The variety and quality of the buffet meals was adequate 'though one expected some more Goan dishes to be on the menu. Likewise, the dinner- time live entertainment was totally devoid of Goan flavour. Some of the chairs in the restaurant need renovation/replacement. 10. The Club is fairly well situated in terms of its distance from Anjuna beach - an easy-paced 15 minute walk passing by St Anthony's Chapel. There are several eating places around the Starco road crossing less than five minutes walking time from the Club. Oxford Arcade sells everything one might need on holiday. Manila Bookshop sells, among other things, useful maps of Goa for Rs 40/00. There are internet cafes and places where you can recharge your mobile SIM card if you need to. All in all. it is unlikely that you'll not be able to find what you want within a short walk from the Club. 11. There is a taxi stand just outside the Club. The charge for an airport drop (46 kms away) is Rs. 1500/00 for an air conditioned car. (Coming from the airport to the Club by pre-paid taxi costs Rs 1400/00) . The taxi stand office outside the Club offers tours of different areas; rates are specified. Three wheelers are available for hire at the Starco crossing. Two wheelers are availalble for hire at various locations. 12. The staff at the Club were all very pleasant and helpful; Ms Manasi, in-charge Housekeeping, deserves special mention. 13. There are three blocks which have rooms for guests. None have elevators. We would recommend that you request a pool-facing, first floor, corner room in Block 1 or 2 for the view. A review we read adds that the corner rooms are larger than the others but we cannot vouch for that. Don't expect too much and we are fairly certain you'll have a comfortable and enjoyable stay - provided management is able to a quiet, serene environment !
I stayed for 6N/7D with my family. Hotel is in the North Goa. Room was clean but average only. A/c was making terrible noise and we didn't use a/c much because of the cold weather. Fan and other fittings were rusted due to the moisture. Bed linen was clean. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom. Microwave oven, LED TV and hot water kettle were available in the room. Daily they provide tea, coffee, milk and sugar sachets. Service was excellent. We requested to clean the room daily and it was done perfectly. A/c remote battery was gone, mosquito repellent liquid was over, etc. and everything was attended immediately. Food in the restaurant was good but rate was high for the buffet. They charge based on the customers staying in the hotel for the buffet. If less customers are staying then more rate for the buffet. Swimming pool was good and they provide swimming costume for rent. Car parking was limited and we have to park the car in a small place outside the hotel or in the road near the hotel. I think during season time parking could be difficult. For me the best beach in Goa is Calangute beach which is around 8 kms from the hotel. Nearest beach to the hotel is Anjuna beach. Road from the hotel to highway for 4 to 5 kms were in bad shape, then fine. One day can be spent to see the beaches in North Goa. But Panaji, Madgaon, Old Goa, Vasco are far from the hotel. So we travelled daily very far to visit other places like Old Churches, Temples, Boat Cruise, Donno Paula, Naval Museum, other beaches, etc. We booked a return trip in the train from Madgaon to Londa to see Dudhsagar falls in the train and it was excellent.
Horrible! 1. There was a big M.C. blood mark in our bed. When intimated to the reception, they were reluctant to change the same. It was the dirtiest experience and we even couldn't feel like sleeping on that bed then 2. Swimming pool attendant do not bother about stinking cotton cloths of women from a particular religion, however dared to almost touch my wife even she was wearing "proper" swim suit. Disgusting... :( 3. Even if by booking was 2 Adults + 2 Minor, there was no provision for the kids. 4. Country club describes it as their 5 star property, however the same is not worth even a single star....... 5. The one star I have given here, as it is mandatory to give some rating, else one can't post the comment :(
