Excellent option when it comes to Agonda beach Excellent option when it comes to Agonda beach

by Abhijeet S on January 12, 2017

Me and my wife stayed at this resort for 5 days during the first week of Jan 2017. No doubt that Cuba agonda offers best accommodation experience compared to other beach huts in the same area. I really liked the Blue-White theme they used for interiors as well as for exteriors. Also this enhances the look and feel of the resort considerably. The room cost was comparatively higher than that of the other resorts nearby. Also I saw more foreign guests than Indians here. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Beach access was great. Agonda itself is one of the most beautiful beach in South Goa. Due to this particular beach and Cuba service I would definitely like to visit this place again.

We stayed four nights end of November in an AC beach facing delux hut. Amazing locations on one of the best beaches in Goa. Room is very spacious, well maintained and with a good sized bathroom attached. Terrace attached gives you unobstructed views of the sunset. Staff is very helpful, friendly and attentive. Food is OK - breakfast included in room pretty lacklustre - but some nice dishes a la carte. I would definitely return.

Tad expensive - Better Options Around Tad expensive - Better Options Around

I have stayed at numerous beach huts around Agonda and Palolem through the years but I have never paid 14K for 2 nights at any of the beach huts. I paid this time around hoping to stay in a slightly luxurious beach hut - but was disappointed as I did not get the bang for my buck. Don't get me wrong the rooms are nice especially the deluxe ones over looking the beach, however the issues with the property itself makes it tad expensive compared to other options around such as dunhill, simrose, harmonium etc. Pros Good staff Excellent Location - Bang on the beach Cons No hot water - was asked to waste 3-4 buckets of cold water so that the pipeline could pass the hot water to our room. Bad food - We had lunch the first day here and that was te only meal for our entire stay at Cuba - didn't dare to eat there again as the food was so so bad. Useful tip - try the restaurant at next door Dunhill - it's the same Draupadi restaurant which is at Palolem Beach. Weak Wifi The wifi did not even connect in our room perhaps we were at the corner most room but that's no reason for it to not connect. All in all, a decent stay but for sure I won't be spending 14K here.

Great location friendly staff and good food. Great location friendly staff and good food.

We went with two kids age 3 and 5. We had a beach view Hut and an extra bed. The location was stunning and the beach side huts with a/c provided the basics for a comfortable stay. The hut was clean and mosquito and other bugs nuiances where at a absolute miminum. The restaurant served good food and we enjoyed many meals on iur terrace. The Nepalese staff went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable and we would definitely consider a revisit. The few and mostly insignificant cons includes: poor wifi, and frequent power drop outs (I guess all of agonda suffers from this?)

Nice and hospitable staff, but the resort could be much better for the price. Nice and hospitable staff, but the resort could be much better for the price.

Pros: Nice location, very nice and helpful staff Cons: Not great rooms (poor bathroom, holes on the ceiling, bad wifi (we had none)), expensive The staff was very nice and helpful, however the amenities leave things to be desired. The bathroom for example is sub-par, giving the feeling of a bungalow. Furthermore, there are holes on the ceiling at the sides of the room, meaning your clothes can easily get soaked in muddy water if it rains through the night and you have left them at the walls. This is still a very nice place if you can get a good deal for it, and if it does not rain heavily -- but for the price we spent for a room, I believe we could have gotten something much better.

Demo Trip Sea View rooms

Demo Trip Front rooms facing sea don't seem to have single beds for friends, so we were in a road facing room which was actually OK
