The place is very well located, just by the beach, being Palolem an excellent beach to stay for a few days. Room was as expected, considering the type of construction the place is very clean (as clean as it can be). People is friendly and they pay effort to deliver good and not intrusive service.
The room has hot water (which is not by default in the area) but don't consider very long hot showers as it runs away after 2 people regular ones.
Having said that, what we did not like at all is the breakfast, which is not really worth staying and better go to have it somewhere else.
Best retreat to go to if you want to escape the hustle/bustle of the city/town. it is simple and magical. With amazing views to complement the bar and restaurant that serves refreshing juices and great continental food. the staff are super friendly and are always there to help. I would highly recommend a holiday here as it is not your 5 star hotel it feels more like a small home that grows on you. Being right on the beach and also being cheap this is the perfect resort for families, couples, backpackers and soloists. Right on the beach couldn't ask for anything more.
The location is excellent and the view from the restaurant is to die for. The resort is clean but the rooms are very very basic. The bathrooms are less than basic and need significant improvement. The housekeeping is minimal. The breakfast is also very small on choice and not great on quality. The food is average.
Palolem Beach Resort is on the beach! I dont think they build them so close to the beach now. The acco is very basic (neat and clean no doubt, but they dont necessarily clean the room every day). The breakfast is just ok, not very elaborates but well prepared. Food is good here. Especially the catch of the day, done in the tandoor. They have a restaurant on the beach, feels like a shack.
The rooms and the bath are made of wood. So there are many cracks in the walls, or rather openings. The shower etc. is in a bad state. I did not use the geyser, my friend did, but he said it was not effective.
They dont have tea/coffee making kits in the rooms, and they dont start room service before 0830. So if you are the types who get up early, and want your brew, ASAP, you will struggle big time. The staff in the kitchen did get my coffee, though with reluctance. Some of their staff is cheerful and friendly, but they do have a share of guys who are morose and not friendly at all! The front office folks are cool, friendly folks.
Good location, needs improvement, the owner is sweating the asset, not paying any attention to maintenance.
For those of you who are not hooked to Brittos/Titos in North Goa, Palolem beach in South is a great option. The beach is incredibly clean, and is very less crowded.
This is the first thing you see when you reach Palolem. I visited their restaurant for lunch. The view of the beach was great, food was good, the service was average and the staff was rude. The rudeness could be imagined with a picture I have attached, though its funny but I am sure they've had incidents of people complaining about the staff.
Anyway its a good place to dine in and relax, looking at the beautiful sea and enjoying your drink.
