Our stay here was quite decent. It is well located, right near the beach. Our room was very well maintained. The room service too were was up to the mark. The food though was not convenient enough for me but then no regrets. This is a recommendable hotel.

Right on the Beach Right on the Beach

by seafarer7 on December 22, 2016

The hut stay is kind of average, because they cant be kept as clean as the normal rooms, so don't expect anything fancy. The rooms are very basic. The location is awesome though, right on the beach. You can enjoy the sun on their beach beds. Plus their restaurant serves good food and drinks. All in all a good place, but I guess the stay anywhere on the palolem beach will be similar, nothing lavish

Cute, relaxing, and clean Cute, relaxing, and clean

by Lorenzo F on December 19, 2016

Spent here three nights in one of the bungalows in the back, built in a circle of different colours. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, everything is clean, and the overall experience was extremely pleasant. The best part is that each little bungalow has its own hammock on the porch in the front. The place also has an open lounge/restaurant right on the beach which has pretty good food and shisha! It is located right in the middle of Palolem beach (what I think is one of the best beaches in Goa), so along with a very nice beach you also have plenty of other places to eat and hang out in. Highly recommend it, if I'll come back to Palolem will surely stay here again.

Amazing or rather best place to stay at Palolem Amazing or rather best place to stay at Palolem

by Saurabh P on December 16, 2016

We booked the sea front beach hut and it was amazing. Arabian sea in front through the day and night. Great place to stay. Brilliant location to relax and chill. Staff was very cordial and lovely. They have different types of huts and all of them are good. Absolutely on the beach. It was my wedding anniversary on 12th Dec and the hotel guys organized a cake an bouquet. Memorable experience. Unforgettable. Amazed to know that these huts are put up for only six months and they remain closed for remaining part of the year. So much hard work goes in putting these up. Kudos to the owners for doing a brilliant job year and year again. Had a chance meeting with the owner of the hotel, Mr. Dharmesh. I was offered welcome drink which was a surprise because it was nowhere mentioned in my bookings. These small things make a hell lot of difference for a traveler. Would definitely love to go back again and again and of course recommend to everyone else. I went to Goa for the first time and I had a gala time staying at Cuba beach hut at Palolem. Please go ahead and do the booking if you are confused.

TOTALY basic TOTALY basic

These huts were not ready when we turned up.. There was no offer of a reduction. No warm shower or electric. We moved to another hut with electric but no hot shower working still. The management should get these things I place before they start to charge full rate

A struggle! A struggle!

by Lucy L on November 25, 2016

We'd booked and paid for a sea facing a/c room in advance for a prix that was equivalent to approx 83 per night. I deemed this pretty pricey for goa but wanted a nice place and views for our 4 nights in Palolem. We arrived late at 3am following morning due to a missed flight. Our fault entirely but I emailed Cuba during the afternoon to advise and to ask if anyone would be there to give us a key. They replied promptly, yes... great! Arrived at 3am pretty tired and mass confusion ensued. Took 4 guys an hour to work out if they even had a room as someone had given our allotted room away. After much wrangling they put us in a non a/c room at the back. They said they'd sort us out following morning. Again, after much arguing the next day (I'd already paid top notch for "best" room) we were put in 107 which did have a/c and did have beautiful view onto beach. However! The rooms are basic! We're accustomed to Thailand and Sri Lanka "basic" but really these rooms are not worth more than 40 per night. We had no hot water the entire time there. Neither was the room cleaned at any point, the towels were dirty when we got them. Lino flooring over mdf, shower tray sunken into a floor barely supported and could see through gaps to the bar floor 2m below, water leaking from base of toilet constantly. It was just super poor quality build with nails stuck out everywhere, I honestly felt the floor could cave in at any point. I repeat I wasn't expecting the Taj but for that money it was not good value at all. The food was great and good value however. Everything was just a struggle or an argument and I Can associate with everything a previous review on trip advisor stated now! In brief, location great, food fab but just very poor value for money accommodation. I felt cleaner after a wash in the sea than I did sleeping and washing there! Could do better Cuba!!

Demo Trip Don't spend too much on the room, since your going to spend most time on the beach anyways

Demo Trip choose AC sea view rooms

by miren007 on February 18, 2016

Demo Trip There are only two huts which actually face the beach, both have excellent views. There are others behind the main restaurant platform which are not really "sea view" All huts close to the beach will be very noisy at night. Although the music is generally chilled, you will need earplugs to sleep before one to two o’clock AM.
