It was a Wonderful stay in this hotel.
Good quality and clean rooms. I used the swimming pool, the restaurant too was good. Good Property but far from the beach.
Great for peace and relaxation. Staff ensured their guests enjoyed their stay. We had a really enjoyable stay.
More vegetarian options on the menu.
My stay at this resort was a great experience.
It is located on an island in Goa. It is also located close to Panaji. The airport is just 30 minute away from Panaji. Devaaya has 60 rooms, most of which are ground floor cottages. All rooms have all modern facilities with attached bathroom, 24 hours hot & cold water facility, TV, Air conditioning and balconies overlooking the garden. The Resort has extensive facilities for providing Ayurveda treatment. It also has facilities like Swimming pool, Tennis, Basketball, Yoga etc. It has two Restaurants, ...& cold water facility, TV, Air conditioning and balconies overlooking the garden. This Hotel is pathetic, My Experience :- Nothing like 5 star was there , First of all no switch to On /OFF / Inc & dec temp for AC , to do that one has to call maintenance cell, if you are furtunate the phone would be picked up in 2nd / 3rd attempt, after that one person would come to your room with a ladder & open AC duct near bathroom.r that one person would come to your room with a ladder & open AC duct near bathroom.
I stayed there with my wife and that stay was memorable. They provided us with airport transfer. When we reached there, a welcome drink was given. Breakfast and Lunch or Dinner was our selected package. Complimentary fruit, Yoga sessions at hotel all this impressed us and make us want to return back as early as possible.impressed us and make us want to return back as early as possible.
Expensive for what we recieved. No bar, lounge area and one restuarant was closed.
Staffs were very quick and prompt in their work. Room was well furnished with beautiful interiors. I had used swimming pool, health club and internet access it was very nice. The hotel has restaurant which serves fantastic food. Its a Beach Resort.
Good place to detoxify in tranquil too far from sea. good for techies who wanna rest. not great for kids or families.
Experience with the hotel was excellent. I will recommend to my relatives and friends for their best of holidays.
It doesnot match the 5* property. Room was okay nothing great. Service and staff were. Food was just ok in taste needs to improve a lot. Overall its an average property.
I enjoyed my stay over there. It was a royal resort and the ambiance was relaxing. The location and surrounding was beautiful. Service was also impeccable. Staff was friendly and food was also delightful. I will strongly refer this property to my friends and relatives.

This resort complex is a welcome refuge from the hustle and bustle of major Indian cities. It is very remote but offers prime access to the old Portugese settlements of Velha Goa and Panjim for those whose primary purpose is different from the one mentioned in the title. Very pleasant staff, special mention Mr Antonio.
The retreat exceeded all expectations. From the moment we checked in we started to feel the peace, tranquility and relaxation. The food is especially good and has inspired us to only eat veggie during January. The accommodation is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We came here to get away from the chaos of the beach at New Years Eve and we found the peace we were looking for. The gala dinner was excellent and we will definitely be back here the next time were in Goa.
WARNING, WARNING: This is a yoga retreat. No alcohol. No meat. No sodas. No coffee. Very isolated. Apart from that the place is allright, though the morning buffet is not worth the money. In general I've had better veggie food. As you can understand, I booked the three nights there by a mistanke, so maybe I am not the right to make judgement.
My Review includes information which I deem will be helpful for fellow travellers: 1. How to Reach Devaaya Resort: - From near Ribandar in Panaji, board a Ferry to Divar Island. It will take 5-10 minutes to reach Divar Island. After reaching Divar Island, Devaaya Resort is (approximately) 6 kms. - Ferry is managed by Government of India and is free-of-cost. They charge Rs.10 for Vehicles. - Ferry Timings are 6 a.m. till midnight. - Ferry is available every 15 minutes OR 30 minutes (I do not recall exact interval. But, it is no longer than 30 minutes). - We could not see Public Transport at Divar Island. 2. About Devaaya Resort: i. Peaceful ii. Nature, Nature and Nature iii. Complimentary Yoga Sessions iv. Saatvik Food - predominantly Indian Cuisine - buffet meals - ample options - it is delicious e.g. Eggplant () Salad, Porridge () , , , - cut fruits after breakfast and evening tea are complimentary *Note: Our Package Included All Meals v. We had a short but lovely stay here. The site is beautiful and the food is even better. The staff were all very attentive and professional. Our therapists Lavanga and Shabreesh provided excellent treatments. Our yoga sessions were guided by Kunal who has a lovely warm energy. We would stay again!
