i enjoyed a lot during my stay at Ginger,Goa.Scrumptious food,up to the mark services ,availabilty of taxi's or rentable bikes plus the location of the hotel itself make it a prime choice for customers.In the nutshell I recommend this hotel for every person who wants to be in goa for holidays.

The concept of "Help yourselves" is very good. Availability of trolleys for luggage is good. There is no room-service. Have to go to the in house restaurant. The dining options in the restaurant is also limited. There is time limitations also for food availability at the cafeteria. I guess all these measures are in place for ensuring smart price for you. This is similar to no-frills budget airlines. One problem I faced in Ginger Goa is the lunch timings published in the booklet in the room was not followed in the restaurant. Room freshener wasn't used in the common areas. Corridors had a foul smell. Liquid soap and shower cap are made available as part of toiletry. Liquid soap without loofah isn't a good wash. I would appreciate availability of bar soap, shampoo and tooth brush and paste. The tile work in the bathroom is botched up. The tiles aren't neatly fitted. The bathroom shape is also not a neat rectangle. The builder has not done a good job here. Though these are minor aesthetic issues, I'm bringing these up here because these could have been taken care of without effective cost increase and new hotels Ginger would come up with won't have the same problem. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom and it was not what I would call spick and span. We have box type ACs rather than split ACs/centralized ACs in the rooms. There is no window that you could open to let fresh air in if you ever want to. Though I appreciate the 'smart hotel' concept, you can take care of some of the points mentioned above without any cost increase and stay smarter.

I always heard its a nice hotel by Tata Group ,but never had any chance to stay till that date. As I booked a room in Ginger,I got all cooperations from hotel staffs as during my train journey while reaching to Goa, I requested them to arrange a taxi as I had viral fever. Train arrived 2 hours late at Madgaon but I found taxi driver waiting for me and I reached hotel around 11pm.When I got key less entry card to room ,I was amazed to see all room's accommodations n its facilities , so clean ,and looking so beautiful as I am in any five star hotel that too in so cheapest price around 1500/-Rs in Panjim ,Goa. It was really surprising place to me as I traveled almost every big cities and tourist places but in such cheap price and so much ultra modern facility ,its great. One more thing hotel don't offer room service because they feel our food's smell can pollute room so they have good buffet dining hall beside reception, and Coffee Cafe day and book stall is there for good book lovers ,Travel desk is there to assist passenger to opt their local tour or dropping to airport or railway station. I want to give Ginger 10 out of ten .I recommend to others to take pleasure to stay here few times for sure.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone who is new to Goa and wants to make good use of time. The brand is owned by TATA, which in itself is sufficient to make you trust the hotel without even reading anything below. However, here is my take on the hotel. Ginger Goa is situated in Panjim. It is closer to KTC bus stand and hotel Ritz Classic where majority of tour buses have a stop. Being in Panjim, covering both north and south Goa becomes easier. Also, you can rent a bike or a car right from the hotel, where few service providers are available at all times. The hotel is clean and tidy, however the food is costly. For me the the hotel's USP is the staff. This hotel has the best ever staff. I needed to amend my bookings due to some reasons, Mr. Udayan Dass from the reservations helped me greatly with it. Also, the front office executive Mr. John Pradhan went out of the way to help me with internet access for some urgent tasks I needed to perform. I would strongly recommend this hotel!

The front desk people were very cordial, cheerful and made us feel at home especially MS Hardeep Kaur. Quickly finishing the job of allotting the rooms, we were lead by the hotel staff to our respective rooms. Housekeeping was excellent, rooms were nicely cleaned, tea coffee pouches were replenished. Overall a nice experience and one is considered a special guest. In the heart of city near Bus Stand adds to the availability of other services.

I stayed at Ginger hotel in last week of January for 1 night. It was an official trip. The hotel is very near to Panjim bus stand. We had reached hotel very early & they had informed us that by paying s. 500, we would be able to early check-in. But when we have reached hotel, none of the rooms were free & told us that by 8 am, it would be free. And subsequently informed that the rooms are not clean yet & would take more time. Even some repai work was going on in ground floor & no wash rooms were there near reception. Then they have given one room in first floor to use as washroom. The room is well maintained, neat & clean. The room has all necessary items like coffee maker, mini-bar, complimentary mineral water, etc. No electronic locker. There are some 2-3 restaurants nearby for food. Even the hotel has a restaurant. We had buffet breakfast included in the room rate. For breakfast, not lots of items were there, but decent one. There is no swimming pool & nearby hotel, nothing special. This is a business area with lot of offices. The check-out was very smooth and fast. Overall good experience for a business trip.

Nice stay!!!! Front desk staffs are well service behavior. In restaurant Mr .Subrha Das , amazing character and friendly.I frgt the name of one chef he prepared food as my taste .food was amazing. In front desk one lady (kichu)her smile was very nice my wife like her smile . Thanks for all staff for our stay memorable

The only good thing about the place is its location - It's located just behind the Kadamba bus stop, in the center of Panjim. The stay was pretty average. If you have been to any Ginger hotel elsewhere, you would be in for a disappointment. The rooms are really small and aren't well maintained. There's paint peeling off the walls, the swipe card doesn't work properly, there was a faint odour in the room. Book this place only if you just need a place to crash for the night and any thing else isn't available.
