Location is a bit inside, and the service was not too good either. Rooms were Ok and that was the only thing we utilised at this hotel. I guess the whole trip was not too great that one, and this hotel only added on to the fact that the stay wasn't great either.

Sterling resort is very nice. Big spacious rooms, Nice restaurant. All was fine but only problem was with the staff who were very polite but always behind you to sell something, membership, tattoo , spa services......

This property has recently been renovated by Sterling holidays and is open for members and non members. After stay in nearby another much bigger resort this property looked too small but it gave fresh feeling the moment you enter the property.Our room on ground floor was up to or better than what we expected. The cleanliness was very good around whole resort. However the best part of the resort was hospitality right from watch man to Resort Manager.Would particularly like to mention F & B Manager/ resort manager and even gardener in resort. F& B Manager was from Cruise shipping industry so was used to of 7 star standard services.Even the chef will come and ask you about the dish you ordered whether it meets your taste and requirement. Outstanding F& B services. We bought some potted plants to take with us back home . Resort Manager advised how to carry and his staff even packed it for us as airport check in luggage. The gardener even watered these plants regularly for us while we stayed in resort.It may not compare with more upscale and bigger resorts in that area but amazing level of hospitality. Colva beach just 5/7 minutes by walk. Would be looking forward to next visit to this place soon.

PRO'S - Large bedrooms which are comfortable - Excellent spa and services - Excellent F & B staff - Nice live music in restaurant in evenings - Neat pool - Beach at 2 min drive and a peaceful white sand beach CON's - Sterling villagio has poor understanding with hotels.com through whom I got my reservation. The front office tried to charge me 21% taxes over the total amount assured me as total charges by hotels.com. After wasting my one hour of time they couldn't prove their point and were just trying to over charge. Suggest book with them directly. - Very average bfast menu - No lift in the property and thus climbing three floors is a bit tiresome - There is a taxi union here who do not let one to hire a self driven car which is a big disadvantage of this property - Their corporate sales staff are intrusive and try to lure you into their corporate membership. It's a bit pushy

Stayed in Christmas for 3 nights with family. We all liked this resort and stay very much. Beautiful surroundings.Nice walk to beach and very calm and serene beach. Resort facilities are excellent and staff and hospitality is excellent. Enjoyed gala dinner. Lot many restaurants near sunset Beach and majorda beach. We took cycles from resort and cycled to Colva beach from betalbattin beach on the beach. Enjoyed thoroughly. Will always stay in this resort. Studio rooms are excellent for family.
