good hotel for recommendation.
Booked at the last minute i.e. on 15th May night. Travel Guru made the decision easy by giving additional discounts thatb what I would have paid directly to the hotel. Everything about the hotel is nice. They do not have dedicated parking space but cars can be parked infront of the hotel & the security takes care of the vehicle in the most appropriate way. Complimentary breakfast is very good for stay up to 3 to 4 nights i.e. they have different menus each day alongwith some same menu items. Taste is very good & the staff is couteous. Rooms are in excellent condition including the bathrooms. Hotel is not immediately facing the sea but around half kilometre i.e. walking distance from Candolim beach. Calangute beach is also very near i.e. the hotel is at a convenient location. I would recommend this hotel to others.
Good location and had a decent enjoyable experience in the property.
This hotel is by no means a 4 star property. 3 star would be the proper rating. The lobby gives the look of a budget hotel. On Christmas Day the Gala Dinner was just average & heavily priced.
Given the worst rooms given the facts that booking was done months back. The behavior of Front Desk manager ( Some Ali) is rude. In front of the window there is public sitting place at the roof top of Conference room. so no privacy. Worst experience with Goa property of Golden tulip.

We are here for long weekend stay and occupied 2 bedroom apartment. Rooms : very spacious, neat and clean. Only thing is shower has less pressure of water. Housekeeping: Balram and full housekeeping team are superb very polite and prompt service. F&B : food taste and quality is very good and value for money. They went out of way to make kids food every time we order and very gentle and quick service . Breakfast spread is good. Special thanks to murli, shankar and lady (forgot her name but she is from northeast) Best part was pool : clean water and Mr. Tapan at pool taking care of everyone. Only request to put some booster for mobile network. However, hotel wifi was working good. We would like to thanks whole team of Golden Tulip to make our stay wonderful & memorable.
I had high expectations from Golden Tulip after reading all the reviews,It might would have been great before but now the construction is just ruining it .The balconies are huge but it's a waste because it will face the under construction building. You can not think of staying in hotel during the day because there would be construction noise throughout the day.Yes, they put a card in your room stating there will be disturbance due to construction but it should ideally be done while booking not when someone has already paid for the room..Breakfast was below average.Infact we couldn't eat it on the third day and stepped out for breakfast.Nothing tasted good.Than comes the spa ,it's a small room which stinks, you can't really relax there . The only good point is the huge room.Service was quick and the pool is nice and clean.
So pleased that we chose the Golden Tulip for our three week stay in Candolim.Made most welcome on arrival.we had a spacious, well equipped room.It was obvious from the start that a lot of thought had gone into the comfort of the guests.Ample tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries, bottled drinking water, and every day room service called to ask if we required anything.Sheets and towels changed whenever we requested. The entire hotel staff were friendly, polite and helpful. We had the complementary breakfast in the beautifully appointed restaurant where the comprehensive range of drinks, cereals and popular dishes was excellent and the staff made sure that things were to our satisfaction. Although there was building work taking place on the new extension it was quite well screened and didnt deter us from our enjoyment of the pool area and general ambience. The beach was about a fifteen minute walk but we didnt mind this at all as we should all think about regular exercise.A walk to the end of the street took only a couple of minutes where you can catch the bus to Panjim or Calangute. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance although we had several evening meals in the hotel restaurant which had a high standard of food and service. we have visited Goa many times but this was the first time we have stayed in Candolim. So glad we chose the Golden Tulip!
Was a bit dissapointed in This hotel. The room itself was OK, however there was a lot of mold that needed to be taken care of (especially on shower curtain, bathroom and windows. We were not aware that the hotel is doing some construction and the pool area is currently not at all like the pictures. I felt especially uncomfortable when going for a swim being gawked at by Both staff and construction workers. The taxi staff outside is ridicoulusly rude and the worst i have ever experieced, always overcharging and having the worst attitude when we Asked why they overcharged. The rest of the staff mostly helpful. Would unfortunatley not Stay again.
Very comfortable. Service is topnotch, kind employes. Great family vacation and stay. Food was excellent. Must go an enjoy in Candolim Goa. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Well Equipped and bathrooms were also nice. Breakfast is complementary and was a wide range of variety to choose from. Everyday different meals which was nice.
