We arrived at 10.30pm due to our train being late and we had to leave early in the morning for our next train, so we did not get chance to really see what the hotel was like. However the guy on reception was very friendly and made sure that all was ok for us. The restaurant offered to cook for us but we had eaten on the train otherwise we would have eaten. They had some daily special fish dishes which were tempting and exceptionally reasonably priced. They kept the bar open so we could have a beer too. The rooms were very basic, what you'd expect from an Indian hotel and the bedding and towels were thin and old. It was reasonably clean and provided a good night's sleep which we needed between trains.
