After completing 7 weeks travelling around India we arrived at Goa just in time for Holi Festival. We ended up without a hotel as another scamming hotel claimed to have double booked and wanted 180 pound for 2 nights! Anyway after walking the streets in the blazing heat for over 2 hours with a big backpack being told no rooms we got to this place they agreed 105 pound for 3 nights (35 per night) which was the most expensive price we had paid in the whole of india including Goa. Even a very nice 3 star hotel with a pool 'Lambana Resort' down the road was only charging 31 pound per night but was then fully booked. We were showed are room, good size and clean. Before paying we asked would wifi be included in cost as we needed wifi to book remaining part of trip reply was yes, this was untrue every time we or any of the guest asked, in restaurant, office or any of the cleaners they said they didn't know password. Eventually I had to basically have a argument with a man in office to give me what I had paid for he then handed password over. The next day they changed password so none of the guest had the password again. Don't even get me started on the noise, I never slept the whole time I was there because under our room there was a club playing loud rubbish dance music until 5-6am the bass vibrated the bed. I spent 2 and a half years traveling around the world staying in hostels, beach huts, dorms, tents, desert and even a shipping container for 3 months and I can honestly say this is the worst nights sleep out of all of them. It was impossible to sleep here basically while the club was open. Never had one bit of sickness whole time while traveling India or anywhere else apart from when I stayed at this hotel, ate breakfast first morning and then my boyfriend and myself fell ill within a few hours of eating here we were both vomiting. So we were both ill in bed listening to the sound of booming dance music and a vibrating bass, it nearly drove us both insane. We checked out early as we could not take a second longer here, I would avoid at all costs!!!!!! The prices they quote off the top of there heads are robbery, they take advantage of tourists. The noise is beyond and joke! Ruined the last few days of our trip to India!
