Access: As we reached Goa(Panaji), I felt that the hotel is at the other end of the city, almost 20 KM from Panaji. We passed the Calangute beach, before finally landing up at the hotel. But the good thing about the location is that the hotel is very near to Calangute and Baga beach. Parking: The Hotel has no covered parking but has space to park about 10 cars and 20 bikes, just in front of its entrance. There was ample space for parking of my vehicle and it is safe too. Location: The hotel is in a very convenient location for all purposes. It is very close to Calangute and Baga beach. Very close to flea market and close to all commercial facilities. The Front desk: The staff was reasonably helpful. We booked an AC Premium double room and when we reached the hotel at 11 AM, the room was ready. The person at the reception gave us some good advice on planning for the sightseeing and arranged a good bike for travel. The Room: The room was spacious, neat and comfortable. The linen was clean, air conditioner was running and taps and flush were working. The bathroom was compact and reasonably clean. Overall: On the whole, the hotel is a good option for the budget traveller and for short stays.

This hotel is located near Calangut beach but is far way form airport. The rooms at hotels are clean with cooperative staff, at hotel which is very well trained.

Stayed at this hotel in Goa for 2 weeks with my adult children. We had two premium rooms. The rooms are spacious have plenty of storage and all basic amenities. The rooms are dated but maintained. There was a fridge in the room and we were provided with a kettle when we asked for this. There is no safe or hairdryer in the rooms. There is site security and the reception staff looked after our key documents et for no charge. The staff were wonderful. They were friendly, helpful and keen to provide customer service. The staff worked tirelessly to keep the hotel, grounds and amenities clean. Shame some of the guests were not tidy and respectful! I became ill towards the end of our stay and the staff were so kind and went out of their way to help and provide support - so appreciated. I thought this was a great base to explore North Goa and was very happy we stayed there.

I had visited with my family. This was my second visit to goa and to calangute. Previously I had stayed at 10 calangute. This time I changed my Resort. Booked through make my trip. Here r my observations : The resort is located at some distance from calangute or Baga beaches and certainly not at walking distance. The resort doesn't have a play zone or spa. The room that I chose was deluxe king room, but was not provided with tea coffee maker. The room was provided with a small refrigerator but without any prefilled drinks(as it happens in other such resorts). Wi Fi kept coming and going every now or then. Swimming pool is good and has a rickety pool side bar as well, but there is no proper changing room. Instead, There is a small room with a wash Basin and two western toilets which stinks and lacks door or a cloth hanger . either one has to stand inside the western toilet or in front of the wash basin(in full view of neighbors, for no fault of their's ). There is a mosquito problem in whole resort. The restaurant being open is specially infested with them. Very disturbing while having meals. Apart from swimming pool there is hardly anything to do. The room was spacious and have a balcony. The bathroom are also good. The toiletries provided are few and of very poor quality, worse than any other hotels/resorts I ve seen, even worse than oyo rooms. Finally coming to the staff, some of the staff at restaurant, bar and swimming pool were very courteous and cooperative. The cleaning staff was efficient. But others like the reception staff were cold in their approach, lacked personal touch, too mechanical and straight faced. I stayed for 7 days, never saw them smiling back. Very icy bunch!! The staff seems to be there not to help there guests but to discipline them in a way they want. The gatekeeper will tell u to park properly, the plumber on being called for a repair, will teach u how the shower works(instead of actually repairing it). The staff are too much involved among themselves and don't give a thought to the guests pleasure. Frankly speaking, the staff gives an expression as if they were too happy without us barging in and disturbing there peace. The buffet breakfast lacks variety and quality(especially tea, coffee, and juice) . I to some extent regretted changing my accommodation this time. Their Manager, Vijay is a gem of a host and takes every possible effort to make the stay enjoyable and memorable. He arranges bike on rent and drop to airport at nominal prices. If you want a basic room at affordable prices given you would use the hotel only for sleeping and freshening up, then Joia Do Mar is ideal. It is located only 2kms to the Baga Beach.

We arrived at 8 am. We were made to wait for 5 hours at the reception even after assured by them over phone that we will be given a room at 8 am itself. When we actually arrived they cited hotel policies nd check in time etc Very bad experience When the room was vacant and they had assured us over phone then they should hav abided by their words Least cooperative staff. Goes too much by the rulebook. No customisation for travellers

It is a nice resort to be stayed near calangute area. We came from Thivim station to resort by prepaid taxi. We pre-booked taxi through hotel but taxi didnt arrive on time. Hotel didnt take the responsibilty so that is very disappointing for any reason. Beside this everything gone excellent from check in to check out. Service is very quick, staff is helping. Food is very nice. I would suggest to order food from hotel only rather than outside. Breakfast was complimentary and it is like home made. I personally gave thank you to chef. I would give 4/5 rating to this Resort.
