Hotels Location was excellent. Specially designed for those who want to spend their holiday on their own aloof from the crowd. Hotel Ambiance was excellent but the quality of rooms was not upto the mark. Other facilities like the pool, spa, gym, disc, beach and the restaurants were fabulous. Food was ok types.

Hotel Jupiter is not a five star hotel. We arrived and were informed that we would only have hot water from 06-09 hours inthe morning and 18.00 - 21.00 at night. On our way to our room we noticed that one swimming pool had only two sunbeds and no umbrellas and the other did not have any water in it. Once in the room we had to ask to have the bedding changed as it was dirty, the replacement bedding was old and gray and the towels were similar. We only ate at the hotel once due to the fact that the plates were dirty. On reaching the beach area there were 12 umbrellas only two of which were working. I would no recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Our stay was disappointing as the service provided was poor. The room was fine, also nothing is great about it. We didn't liked the food in the restaurant. The location was also not that convenient. To be honest it really didn't deserve to be a five star property.

This is the most doggiest hotel on the planet. The hotel give the Goan experience a very bad name. We had fully paid for 6 villas in advance. On our arrival this place was in mess with total disarray. There is no management. We moved out after 2 nights to the next door 5* hotel. We lost all our money. There is simply nothing to comment on this hotel. Please do not get fooled by the glossy website. Beware: the staff are local thugs and nasty.

We stayed at this hotel in March. We had orginally booked to stay for a week but we checked out after 2 days. This hotel is not 5*. At the most I will rate this hotel as 2*. On arrival we noticed that the pool was very small and there was only 2 deck chairs outside. We were informed by reception that they were very busy, but we never saw anyone. I agree with the other comments, the toliet leaks water when its flushed, there is no secure sake in the rooms, as its not fixed to a wall or anything, so it can be lifted out easiely. I will not recommand this hotel to anyone, especially not anyone with family, as its not child friendly. This was the worse hotel we have ever stayed in. We checked out and went to Kenilworth hotel, which actually is 5*.

I had booked with full advance payment by CASH. On 30/April i get an email saying that my booking for 1/May'08 is cancelled as the Hotel is under 'renovation'. On checking i found out they are having serious problems with the local authorites. I am not sure if i will get my money back. I WISH TO WARN THE PUBLIC TO AVOID THIS HOTEL LIKE THE PLAGUE. Else you too would likely be cheated like me. B.Pai

The place is really run-down and horrible. Payment before checking in. We payed 8.000 Rupies per night !!! Towels and bedsheets are dirty. We changed rooms because they have a very bad smell. Avoid rooms downstairs because of smell. It looks like this place is eclusively used by a russian travelagency. Avoid when possible

Hello we can only repeat and underline what fellow travellers said (details below). On top of it, about 400 US$ in cash were stolen out of our luggage as the en-suite safe did not work properly and we had to hide our money in a laundry bag - we clearly had no confidence to leave the money with the highly chaotic reception. We have been travelling in India many times before, and never experienced a theft. At the end of our stay, they also presented us with a faked invoice for drinks (faked signature, and orders we had never made) which we refused to pay. Interestingly, no further attempt was made to claim the money. Rooms and beach facilities: Wet walls, incredibly dirty bed-linen, missing towels, no hot water, leaking water-taps and toilet flush, water-kettle disfunctional and not replaced, ensuite safe not working, litter all around. Resort's private beach is dirty, full of litter, not enough armchairs and sun umbrellas. Service: Local management and, with few exceptions, staff, are arrogant, idle and lazy. Worst are the "security guides" on the beach. Some examples: Two hours discussions before an umbrella on the beach was installed, five attempts until a taxi arrived. Food: Forget it. By the way, the shacks down the beach serve excellent food, and are always full. Overall: Serious management issues. This property should be closed down better today than tomorrow. Their own "suggestion book" is full of complaints, but, apparently, they never read it.
