Pleasantly suprised us, this place did. Was not very happy looking at the outside of the place but it was fabulous inside. Rooms were very good and people so helpful and warm. Specially Ms. Merlin at the reception. For the price this place is a steal. Will definitely go back there and would recommend it to everyone.

After a long hectic year, we decided to take a break, a lot of options were in my mind but finally zeroed down to Goa. Location- Located in Calangute, the beach is at a 10 minutes walk. Front desk- Very courtous however lack a little coordination between the shift. Restaurant- The package opted was MAP (included breakfast and dinner). Options for breakfast were many but options in the dinner menu were limited. Food was excellent. Room- was clean with with great setup and furnished. The TV had a DTH connection Room service - was good. Tea was expensive, should have been complementary atleast the bed tea Overall experience- Value for money if you are visiting just before the peak season begins. Look forward to visiting again

I stayed at the lambana resort for 4 nights in October 09. I found the staff very hospitable and the location very convenient . The beach was hardly 5 min walk at Calangute. It is a very decent accomodation with clean rooms and a small but clean swimming pool. The only downside during my stay was food...due to the hotel not fully occupied, the kitchen did not offer all advertised menu food. But with so many other options around, I wasnt such a big deal.

Very hard to find fault with this hotel. The rooms had been recently re-furbished to a good standard. Pool area and all public areas all clean and well maintained. The staff could not be more helpful, a special thank you to Merlin on the front desk, and to Raj, David and the rest of the boys for making us feel a little bit special. We will certanly use this hotel on our next visit to Goa.

Lambana Resort is a great place for a tourist on a budget who is looking for: # A clean and well-furnished place with minimum frills # A place located within walking distance from Calangute & Baga beach # Friendly staff who will give you good tips on places to visit and help arrange for travel as well as negotiate a good rate for you # Number of good restaurants (non-veg as well as veg) and shopping options at walking distance Merlynn from the Reception desk was especially helpful with suggestions and arranged for travel options at reasonable rates.

It's an average hotel. Calling it a resort won't be correct. No lift. Room service was good. Some confusion happened for check out time. On the voucher it was mentioned 12pm but person on counter said it is 11'O clock. Swimming pool was OK.

I have been visiting goa for many years and stayed in numerous hotels,i found lambana to be a small friendly hotel, not the cleanest of hotels but staff were quite happy to right anything i was not happy with, its in a very good location for markets restaurant's and beaches all of these amenities are in walking distance from the hotel, the food has a lot left to be desired but there are so many places to eat this is not a problem

NEAR TO CALANGUTE BEACH - GOOD LOCATION, NEAT ROOMS NEAR TO CALANGUTE BEACH - GOOD LOCATION, NEAT ROOMS

by harishzdoshi on April 15, 2016

Well what can I say? It was my first visit to Lambana Resort and fourth visit to goa. Booked through travel agent in spite of me being a travel agent. me and my son visited goa on april 8-10 2016. We arrived at about 3am (courtesy Spicejets delayed flight ) then also checked in quite quickly that was good although we were on the 2nd floor with no lift it was a bit to much for traveler after a delayed flight and approximate 1 hour drive from airport to the resort. The hotel is located at really good location Calangute beach is approximately 10 minutes walk from the resort. and also pretty quiet to say its on a main road. The rooms were nice - very spacious and always kept nice and clean by our lovely friendly cleaner. Power keeps on fluctuate specially at the night which that keeps disturbing you - i am surprise why the power does not go automatically to the generator which they have kept near to the pool at the ground floor. . . Pool area is kept very nice - cleaned down every morning around 9am. Staff OK... some seemed a bit laid back like they don't really want to do anything and walk around trying to avoid any work. The only negative to the hotel is the food. The breakfast was just the minimum they could offer - eggs, really bad quality bread for toast and jam, kanda poha, upma (?). It did get a bit boring. I think the cooking is done by one of the staff and not by the professional cook. Overall the hotel was nice but because of the bad food we would not return because we don't always want to go out to eat and it would have been nice to just stay at the hotel for a meal.

really gone down hill really gone down hill

well what can I say have stopped at this hotel twice before never had a problem never went last year due to my wife having a stroke so was really exited to be going back this year . me my wife my daughter and her fella . now before I start I just want to say im not one of these traverlers that pay for a 2 or 3 star and expect a 5 star like I have said iv stopped at the lambana twice before with no problem and been to goa six times in total and I know what to expect.we arrived at about 3pm was checked in quite quickly that was good although we were on the 3rd floor with no lift it was a bit to much for my wife to tackle 3 flights of stairs every day so I had a word with the manager the following day and he moved us to the 1st floor wich was really good of him . that day we was having a drink at the front terrace and we was talking to a group of people who we knew from a couple of years ago at the lambana we asked them how there holiday was going they told us that they had been really ill all six of them for the first few days . well in all the time I have been to india I have never had deli belly or any stomach problem so I wasn't worried .we all had a meal that night at the hotel wich to be honest was great .this is where it goes all goes wrong that night I woke up feeling sick so I asked my wife to get the bucket for me I was sitting up on th bed before she could get me the bucket I threw up really bad and im ashamed to say messed myself as well I couldn't make it to the toilet it was coming out of both ends at the same time .when I had finished my wife stripped the bed and I had a shower she called room service and explained what had happened god I felt so ill no energy . anyway they came up and took the bed sheets away and the mattress they put the mattress outside against the wall where it stayed for the next 4 days a soild mattress in 80dgrs of heat don't smell to good we told reception on three occasions but nothing was done I stayed in my bed for 2 and a half days lifeless . then my son in law got it as well then my daughter then my wife whatever it was it was in the hotel but they didn't want to know .also the mini bar which we were charged for all of the drinks were out of date some by 2yrs that is a joke.when they cleaned the room it was still filthy .food trays were left outside the doors for days with left over food and not collected.they tried to charge us twice from the front bar to the rear swimming pool the when we were in the swimming pool the guests from deli were in the pool spitting and blowing there noses in the pool it was disgusting we complained to reception but nothing was done all in all I am sorry to say that this hotel has really gone down and I will not be going back

Good location, good rooms bad food Good location, good rooms bad food

by beverleyconnor on March 18, 2016

Just stayed at the Lambana for 9 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel is in a really good location and also pretty quiet to say its on a main road. The rooms were nice - very spacious and always kept nice and clean by our lovely friendly smiling cleaner. We left him a tip and sweets every day for the service. Pool area is kept very nice - cleaned down every morning around 9am. Staff OK... some seemed a bit laid back like they dont really want to do anything and walk around aimlessly with their hands in their pockets trying to avoid doing any work at all. Raj was the only staff member that made a real effort and he was very well liked by all the guests. Everyone seemed happy when he came on duty. The only real negative to the hotel is the food. The breakfast was just the minimum they could offer - eggs (which sometimes looked as if they had been kicked around the floor), really bad quality bread for toast and jam. It did get a bit boring after a couple of days. We did eat in the hotel once at lunchtime and it was really bad. We didnt get what we ordered and was really basic..... I dont think personally there is a chef there during the day, I think its just the other staff "making do". Overall the hotel was nice but because of the bad food we would not return because we dont always want to go out to eat and it would have been nice to just stay at the hotel for a meal.
