The Good Stuff: 1) Dining experience was great. The food was excellent and the service was great. 2) The tour was great. The driver took us to the right places and had a great attitude. 3) The swimming pools was good. The Bad Stuff: 1) The hotel is too expensive for what it offers. I paid about $211/night. 2) Its definitely not a 4 star hotel as i was told. The property is very small and has terrible views. 3) There are no elevators and almost all their rooms require climbing stairs. My mother had a really bad time going up and down. 4) Administrative staff had no interest in helping customers. Since the hotel is new, there were hardly any guests and there were plenty of rooms that were available. They chose to gave us the worst corner rooms on 3rd floor with bad views. 4) Double rooms are too small to do anything. 5) Bathrooms are small - no bath tubs in superior rooms. 6) Bar looks great but the bar attendant makes bad drinks (the guy is 22 years old so you can guess his experience with mixing drinks). 7) The overall looks of the hotel are really bad. It looks like a old school apartment complex in delhi. I Will not recommend to anyone for this price.

The location was not so convenient as it was around 3 to 4km away from the beach. The room was fine but didn't represent the quality of a four star hotel. The staff was well trained and they attend us to the perfection. The hotel contain a restaurant which was clean and well arranged. The food was gently prepared and the taste delicious. It was truly a recommendable property.

Excellent Service Excellent Service

by ksharadsaxena on February 19, 2017

To Start with, its lil far from Airport. We stayed there for Four nights and their service was excellent from the day 1. Baga beach is nearby and taxi/ scooty stand is just outside. Food is good but I think all day food menu should be made wide. Front desk/reception is quick in service and they have some gud option of Island Tours/Boat Rides etc too. Staff is helpful. Overall gud experience.

Nice place to stay. We stayed for three days in Feb 2017. A very good place to relax. Food is good, but can be improved. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The surrounding area is calm with no hustle and bustle. Very near to Baga beach. Service is very good. As the name suggests, you can really enjoy a lazy holiday here.

Lags in lot of places Lags in lot of places

I have previously stayed at Sarovar property at Shirdi , and I was so happy with the property and the hospitality that I selected Sarovar for Goa also but a property in interior village fares a lot better than the tourist hub in India Pros: 1.Has lovely view . Better take the suites on 1 floor since they have lovely lagoon view And go for superior rooms they are far bigger compared to garden deluxe room 2.The housekeeping ,room service and the restaurant staffs are really helpful and courteous. Cons : 1. The rooms are not maintained properly, in our suite room the tap would come in hand n we had to keep fixing it . 2. Location - it's not in proper baga infact it's in middle of village just has a general store outside 3. Pool is medium sized looks bigger in pictures 4.On the Last nite they had some power due to which they shifted us to other room in middle of the night , that to after we complained I understand such problems happens but the way they handle the situation is very bad , our intern com was also dead so we went on calling their landline but no response we had to go till the reception to sort it out ,imagine changing a room with 3yr kid at 2 in the nite . 5.The reception staff, for every request they have a patent dialogue we are fully booked can't help you . We wanted to extend our stay so we knew the hotel has rooms available on the day we depart but due to the bad experience at previous nite we booked in some other property, but some of my family had flight in the latter half of the day , so when we requested late check for just 1 room out of 4 they say it's not possible they r sold out . Only after hassling with them do they agree to let you use the room , even after informing them from day 1 that we need atleast one room for late checkout. We requested the bills to get devided within the 4rooms since we were ordering everything from just one room .Again requested this thrice , informed again at 10 before checking out still in the end had everything billed for 1 room. They just don't listen to your request , they do what they want 6.dont ever take bikes from the touts outside the hotel, they are just hooligans who pass lewd comments who try to flee you and when you fight back the whole village who have no idea what's going on come n supports those criminals and help them harass you more.I don't remember how many times I have been to Goa but never ever came across such people . If they can behave such way with us I can just imagine how much they can harass the foreigners. How does the hotel allow such people to run their business outside their hotel . I expected a lot but never again .

Oasis of calm Oasis of calm

This is the fourth time that I have stayed here which in itself is a recommendation. The suite we had was exceptionally spacious with separate living area. The view from the front balcony was fantastic especially the sunrise and the view from the rear balcony was above the road through this thriving little village , with the General Stores opposite and the barber shop behind. It was fascinating to watch the locals and the cows going about their business. Always managed to get a sunbed with no fuss round the cool , refreshing pool where I spent many a happy hour. The food at the hotel is good , decent breakfast , snack menu and an a la carte or buffet in the evening , reasonably priced. The staff at the hotel are lovely and while it may be unfair to single just two out I do feel they were exceptional. Manmahoto was quickly out with the tea and coffee at breakfast in the morning and always with a smile and his service and attention to detail was exemplary to the point where when I mentioned the beer was not ice cold he stuck a few bottles in an ice bucket as well as advising on the food . He is a credit to the Lazy Lagoon especially as his Gin Fizz`s rock . Another lady who stood out was Kanchana who kept a watchful eye on things , was extremely helpful in getting things organized and who was a pleasure to speak with. Mr Terrance Mottha , the manager , an absolute gentleman , runs a hotel of which he can be extremely proud. An amazing hotel. Amazing staff. An oasis of calm.
