A group of 5 stayed at Leela Cottages.. very comfortable and the first beach hut hotel complex we had stayed in which actually had hot water.. The grounds are just beautiful and the huts are attractive, with Indian statues placed everywhere.. in another traveller review they pointed out the noise coming from local clubs.. this is a problem, but not one Leela can do anything about.. pounding bass all night on two nights of our 4 night stay.. Also beware the bathrooms and the tiling.. lethal for slipping over.. The restaurant Elevar is lovely, the food good.. but if you order drinks, specify what drink you want.. we ordered local gin for our gin and tonics and were charged for Bombay Sapphire which was much more expensive. This was a problem when coming to pay. This sounds a bit negative, but we did have a lovely stay.. and you can always sleep on the beach..
