Budget Hotel ! Budget Hotel !

It's not a resort . It's a budget hotel. I made the booking through my travel agent. He booked through agoda. I booked their best suite accommodation. The pictures on agoda are misleading. Refrigerator was not working. Washroom was below average. Unclean linen. Torn pillow cover. However on my request they did change the linen but it was still same. Torn and untidy. Staff is allright. I won't say very good though. I wanted to book a cab for doodhsagar waterfall. Guy at reception quoted a price. Next morning another person quoted a higher price for the cab. Difference of 1k. Dinner buffet is very average with no variety at all. You can count on fingers. Breakfast is similar. Not recommended.

We were offered a welcome during during checkin even though its Rasna, its nice to have it. Rooms are very good. Hot water shower and a very clean bathroom. Hotel offers free breakfast - aloo poori, poha and all, good in taste. Also have a swimming pool but not that great.

No COURTESY AT ALL. I did not have much expectation while booking. But it was worst that expected. It does not look like what it is shown in photos. Rooms were clean but average. No warm water. We got the reservation through My Holidays. It is definitely NOT a resort. No good water in pool. Food was average. Our Lunch and Breakfast was included in our booking. But they denied to serve it in Room and asked Money if we want to get it in room. The only reason I was asking service in room as suddenly my mom felt sick. She had weakness and fever 102. They charged Rs.90/- just for the tea in Room Service. That is terrible.

I stayed at Magnum resort on very first day of my trip. We got our reservation via my holidays holiday program. The moment they came to know they were losing interest. As they were pitching in for room tarrif. Room was hopeless door were relied on single stopper. There was no door lock. On top of that no warm water. Most disappointing part door of bathroon was not getting locked. When complained they said we do not have rooms vacant where as the fact was we had an advance reservation. Pool was only for name sake there was no water in pool. Food was decent including breakfast.

To start with ITs NOT a RESORT. Booked thru Make My Trip, the resorts location is convenient, located right on the main road and very close to Candolim Beach. BUT that is all that is good about this place. Exterior look : Very average Check in experience : Very Average Rooms: Least I say is better, Seepage across all walls, heavy fungus smell, damp, visible algae growth on walls, No view, stained bedsheets will small ants all over. On complaint to reception the guy seemed pretty well aware of the condition of rooms but did mentioned that those were Delux rooms and he had upgraded us to this higher category in spite of being booked a Standard room thru Make My Trip (MMT). However on our insistence we were moved to the standard room (originally booked category). The rooms were less smelly and no visible fungus growth. However stained walls and bed sheets, broken furniture were pretty much the same. A near non functional DTH TV with only 07 functional channels. Breakfast : A formality to attach with Tagline of room with complimentary breakfast. The breakfast consists of : Poori Aaloo, Upma, Plain white Bread Butter Jam, NO bread Toast, Ready made Tea (NO Coffee), Omelette (if u insist u wil get it). Breakfast Spread is same all days expect Poori Aaloo is replaced with Parantha and aaloo or Aaloo Parantha. Lunch / Dinner: Yes available, with 3-4 option of fixed items to choose from. U can certainly miss this, there is plenty of good eateries right out of this Resort Other recreational facilities in the Resort NONE , yes thr is a pool sans the water. Did they mention it on thr or MMT website- about Non-operational pool???? NO THEY DIDNT. Should you stay here Yes if you have a shoe string budget, you dont worry much about stained walls and sheets and/or what you only desire is a roof to crash under. Our irate factor was the incorrect depiction of the Hotel booked and as a prepaid booking it left us with little choice of changing the Hotel. At 1500-1600 per room night it is definitely Value for Money but upkeep and cleanliness cannot be traded against it as the other facilities, services and comforts may be.
