Overall rating is 3.5. Mayflower's biggest benefit is it's location in Tito's lane. Check in was smooth, swimming pool is decently maintained, staff is very polite and accomodative, room was reasonable. Food was very average but there are good restuarants on Baga Clangute Road hence it was not a problem at all. Their cleanliness standards are pretty poor. We had to remind them of room cleaning each day and considering 5 days stay it was quite terrible experience. While room keys were at reception, room should have been cleaned but we had to tell them each time while handing over the keys. One day we left resort early in morning at 6.30AM and came back only at 8pm and found room not cleaned.

No TV(Cable is down), Dirty Room..Poor Service...They will ask for the photocopy of the Credit card. Which is unethical in India. Poor welcome..they fight with you on arrival. because they think that their property is on prime location then they will get the traffic anyhow. They harras foreigners behave rudely. I heard them shout at a Russian tourist. "Go to Russia..Stay out of this anyone you want....etc.." for asking an extra bed.

The worst hotel I have ever been to . I had a booking for 4 nights but checked out in a day. We had to go look for other hotels and our first day went in looking for a descent place to stay. They have this policy of no refund and refused to acknowledge any of our problems, or offer us to shift to an another room. There were mosquitoes all over the room and A very Uncourteous and a unwelcoming staff.i for sure I am not going to go there. Giving a rating was mandatory so bad to give one, other wise doesn't even deserve a rating.!

If the name "resort" ignites a feeling of luxury and service then I don't blame you for disappointment. Big rooms, clean, no noise - essentially neat and clean place. But then the double beds have two single bed mattresses - and that can be quite uncomfortable! For toiletries you get to have soap - all else can be procured from a nearby shop. But what can be really annoying are - A) no wi-fi in the rooms. It is available at the entrance lobby only B) no provision to keep the refrigerator running when you get out of the room - this spoils any attempt to keep your drinks and ice in the refrigerator The funny part was to pay in cash for the tea ordered in the room. But then if u don't care for any of the service then it can be value for money as it is right in the middle of action in Tito's lane. And the staff is honest - they returned my jacket that I had forgotten in the closet on checkout without me even noticing it or asking for it. And the owner of hotel is a thorough gentleman! If you need any assistance then ask for it.

The location is really good. You're almost in the middle of all the hustle-bustle, but it's still a quiet place, unless you're unlucky enough to have a large uncivilized family staying there at the same time as you, slamming doors day and night. It happened to me, but fortunately it was only in the last night, otherwise I would have had to complain, it was unbearable. The staff was nice but the choice at the bar/restaurant is poor. Not having Internet in the room is certainly a drawback. Anyway, I don't think in Baga there are much better choices for the same price.

We make mistakes when we book accommodations sometimes and Mayflower Beach Resort has been one of my mistakes. I had no choice as well because the hotel instantly debited my card provided online, so despite the other poor reviews, I had no time to amend it. The venue is an eyesore, the rooms diffuse a permanent foul smell and the view overlooks a dumping area which can be very dodgy at night. The bathroom was average but the hotel overdid the furniture in the room reducing the space. Cleanliness is average. Wifi is available only at the reception!!! There is no kettle in the rooms. The lady at the reception did not even say "goodbye" upon us checking out, so the service is nothing to remember either. Sylvesyer, the owner is very responsive though but certainly it is not enough. There is so much room for improvement. On the good side, the location of the hotel is fantastic! The beach and all the fun areas of Baga & Calangute are easily accessible.
