Access- Nirvana's placement, although, true to its name in being peaceful and private, is a bit tricky. Google maps takes you to a different place. You have to find the Corporation bank and take a left, reach a football field on right and continue down it till you reach a left with a sign for Lilliput. Then continue down that and find a German bakery. Follow the up hill road and on the dead end is Nirvana Hermitage. The road is quite uphill, narrow and ragged so be careful if you're driving a twowheeler. Location: There's this feel of calm once you reach there but you also have that slight fear at the back of your mind sensing the remoteness, having drove through, narrow roads(patli galis) to reach there. The property is beautiful and is well maintained. The lush greenery all around was a welcoming contrast to my city life bringing back childhood memories. The cottages are spacious and have balconies. The pool is large enough and has a nice view of Sunset, best time to be in it. The bar is near it and is really something in the evening. Staff and Service: The receptionist was very helpful and cordial. Also suggested different nearby restaurants and local happening places. Room service was good, given the off season. When we needed bikes or cabs to go around they contacted the vendor and the transportation was at the hotel on time. Food: I have traveled a lot in India, but never have I had an instance when the hotel I stayed in had the best food I had. Maybe it was the off season and the cook was less busy, but he made some sumptuous dishes.

Went through all reviews was got a mixed feeling booked for 1 night though we had nothing to lose as we were arriving in the afternoon , we arrived at the resort checked into a nice clean room ,went to the pool for a nice swim had a late delicious lunch .We were really happy with the services, did not want to check another hotel. We asked if we could extended our stay and sure enough we extended for another 3 days .Loved all the greenery around & the service would recommend friends and relatives.

The property needs a RENOVATION with immediate effect. This place is terrible with absolutely no maintenance. The moment you go into the reception area you start feeling it. Firstly this place is located interiorly from the main road. It's quite a distance without any lights on the kuchha road. The pathways inside the resort is rocky and shabby. The swimming pool is not maintained at all, there are lot of leaves swimming I the water. Talking about the amenities inside the room - that's way too dirty and unusable. The towels, pillow and bed spreads were stinking badly. We changed the pillows thrice still the same problem persisted. On couple of days during our stay the main electricity supply went off along with water supply and the DG didn't start. This plunged the resort into complete darkness during the evening for 02 hours. This happened twice on two different days. Food is just OK. Breakfast is monotonous and repeated. When you switch on the AC it starts like a pedestal fan with a noise. TV's were not working in different rooms. I would not recommend this place to any. All our money went in vain. I would not go here even if offered free of cost.

Lovely place, Excellent service, exceeded my expectations. Lovely place, Excellent service, exceeded my expectations.

As i searched hotels near Anjuna i was pleased to see the photos and the website information about Nirvana Hermitage. And i was happy to say that it came up to my expectations. It is a hilltop resort surrounded by trees everywhere. I had a pool view villa. The staff is very polite, food is delicious, and the arrangements the had made as per my request were too good. Choose Anjuna as your stay point if you want peace of mind going to Arambol, Mandrem , Ashwen. Also you you have Baga, Calangute beach which are 5-7 km away.

Great Holiday Great Holiday

Visited with a group of friends we were out to have fun,we got lovely rooms with nice balcony where we would sit and play music & games . Swimming pool was nice clean where we spent a lot of time eating delicious snacks. The bar tender Somanath was more than happy to cater to all our needs with a smile. Flea market which is walking distance is very interesting where you can pick up gifts for friends & relative, but one has to bargain. Rooms were nice housekeeping was prompt to ask us if we needed our rooms to be serviced . Overall a lovely holiday

I was planning my honeymoon when I came across Nirvana thought twice then booked directly the Pool view villa with honeymoon package .Hoping all would go well . We had a smooth check in .When we checked into our villa it was beautifully decorated my wife was really happy that's what mattered its a big thanks to Nirvana team . We went around to all beaches which were close by but spent most of our time in our villa which is beautifully designed you get a lovely view of the pool . In the evenings we would sit by the bar side and sip on amazing cocktails. Breakfast was nice with a variety of items. We really enjoyed the 5 days we spent at Nirvana .
