Access- Nirvana's placement, although, true to its name in being peaceful and private, is a bit tricky. Google maps takes you to a different place. You have to find the Corporation bank and take a left, reach a football field on right and continue down it till you reach a left with a sign for Lilliput. Then continue down that and find a German bakery. Follow the up hill road and on the dead end is Nirvana Hermitage. The road is quite uphill, narrow and ragged so be careful if you're driving a twowheeler. Location: There's this feel of calm once you reach there but you also have that slight fear at the back of your mind sensing the remoteness, having drove through, narrow roads(patli galis) to reach there. The property is beautiful and is well maintained. The lush greenery all around was a welcoming contrast to my city life bringing back childhood memories. The cottages are spacious and have balconies. The pool is large enough and has a nice view of Sunset, best time to be in it. The bar is near it and is really something in the evening. Staff and Service: The receptionist was very helpful and cordial. Also suggested different nearby restaurants and local happening places. Room service was good, given the off season. When we needed bikes or cabs to go around they contacted the vendor and the transportation was at the hotel on time. Food: I have traveled a lot in India, but never have I had an instance when the hotel I stayed in had the best food I had. Maybe it was the off season and the cook was less busy, but he made some sumptuous dishes.

I was here with my Family for Diwali vacation. The location, not that great. Food not good at all. Swimming pool had frogs and was not cleaned. The property is very old and not mainted as well. Over all it was an okay experience.

Nirvana indeed! Nirvana indeed!

We booked this resort for our honeymoon and nothing could be more welcoming than this place. This is a pretty old property tucked away in a cozy corner up from German Bakery,Anjuna. There were books in various languages in the reception which won my heart. A pretty swing lured me as much. We received a warm and heartfelt welcome by the owner,Ms. Tina who personally supervises over the well-being of her guests . Our room provided us with the privacy we seeked on our honeymoon along with giving us a brilliant view of the swimming pool and the wilderness around. The rooms were comfortable, service was prompt and courteous and the complimentary breakfast was decent. Cleanliness should be given a little more attention to achieve perfection.

Peaceful Place with Customized services.... Peaceful Place with Customized services....

Nice place to visit. We went in sept and got a good deal with the hotel. It is about 1.5 Kms from Anjuna beach. GOOD THINGS Customized service: You can stay late at the pool and have your drinks there....Same with Pool table. Reasonable food and Liquor. Close to German Bakery. Clean and peaceful rooms. Good service NOT SO GOOD THINGS WiFi connectivity is poor (looking at the location a trade off) Quality of the food is OK THING THAT MATTERS - Have your own transport or take a car or bike on rental. It is slightly isolated and having your own / rental vehicle will save you money. At front desk, they arrange the bikes and cars and they are reasonable(comparing with the market rates).

Good Hotel to stay Good Hotel to stay

by NotesfromEgypt on September 14, 2016

I stayed here for three days. I would recommend it as a good place to stain Anjuna beach in Goa. Its connectivity and closeness to some nice clubs make it a prominent hotel. The rooms are cosy but their instruments are very old. Such as television, Air condition, etc. One can definitely think to stay here if they do not have to access the internet. They do not have internet connection in rooms and in the public area it is almost negligible. I had a very tough time because of non-availability of the internet. Apart from it, I have a feedback to the hotel. Kindly change the bedsheets everyday and provide clean towels.

Nice and lovely rooms Nice and lovely rooms

We stayed in Nirvana Hermitage for 4 days and 3 nights. Their cottages are huge and clean with private balcony view. They have nice, big and clean swimming pool which has kids pool as well. (in our stay the kids pool was under maintenance). They also have snooker as a indoor game. There is huge parking slot next to their entrance with a Ganesh Temple beside it. The hotel has attentive staff (especially the guy who handles restaurant part). The lady at the reception is nice and helpful. There is a complimentary breakfast everyday which is awesome in quality. We had their dinner on day 1 as well, it was good in quality. The outdoor restaurant is just beside their swimming pool which is having a bar as well. There is one more indoor A/c restaurant where buffet's are arranged. The location is bit inside from main road. They have very small direction boards on the way. The famous place is "German Bakery" from where you have to travel inside small lane to reach this hotel. Few famous beaches like Vagator, Anujuna, Morjim, Ashwem etc are near to this hotel. Its a good hotel to stay with your family and loved ones. I will definitely opt for it if i go their next time. Keep it up Nirvana !!!
