We spent a couple of days here during Diwali and we are still relishing the experience we had. This hotel is a pure gem. Located near Dona Paula jetty point in a peaceful area.
Our stay at O Pescador was indeed memorable for all the right reasons. Firstly, the staff at O Pescador are the soul of this beautiful resort. They did everything to make us feel welcome and feel at home. The restaurant staffs, duty manager, and housekeeping people were friendly, vibrant, and polite. They accommodated our every request and took special care. Every time in the evening when we used to come after local sightseeing, they would greet us and asked us about our day.
Secondly, the breakfast and dinner were excellent with a varied selection.
Third, the place was so quiet and scenic that you can spend the entire day in the resort. The restaurant has a bookshelf and the pool was maintained daily. It has a private beach area attached to it. The rooms were spacious and the view from our room was superb too.
We would like to thank each and every staff of this property and would like to stay again.

We spent a couple of days here in early March 2020, this hotel is a hidden gem, a beautiful place to spend a couple of days.
The grounds at Opescador were stunning, we had birds nesting outside the balcolny and the rooms were stunning, without doubt one of the nicest places I have stopped in Goa, unfortunately whilst stopping here I was bitten by a dog, this was no fault of the hotel and staff were amazing in their response to assisting us to the local hospital and waited with us whilst I had treatment.
I can not thank the staff enough for their kindness also many thanks to a couple of British tourists there who cleaned the wound and offered reassurance.
If you are looking for a beautiful hotel and a place to relax with wonderful staffing you will not go far wrong stopping here.
Once again, many thanks to excellent staff and their customer care.

Stayed here in Feb/March 2020.
The hotel is in a quiet location in Dona Paula but hotel next door does cater for weddings/parties so there is occasional noise from there but having said that they all end at 10.30pm. We only had 4 weddings during our 5 week stay so it is not a big problem.
We stayed in a suite at the front of the hotel which was large and had everything in it that you could wish for. We viewed the other rooms when we were there and have booked the Harbour View room for our next visit which are all stunning.
They also have adjoining rooms for families in the Bay View rooms which are also done to a very high standard.
The hotel was great and the restaurant which is open to non residents had a good choice of dishes and is very reasonably priced. Breakfast had plenty of choice and the egg chef was on hand for any cooked options.
The main selling point of the hotel are the brilliant staff. They bent over backwards to ensure that your every need was met and were always on hand with a pleasant smile and welcome. Special mention goes to Ranveer (restaurant), Narayan (restaurant), Nakul (reception), Valencia (reception) and Akash (reception) who were all absolutely brilliant. Missing you guys already.
My wife had her birthday whilst we were here and the staff trimmed up the room in spectacular fashion. They also provided a bouquet of flowers and a cake. This was most unexpected but greatly appreciated.
I can recommend this hotel and their brilliant staff to anyone looking for a holiday in this area of Goa who expect high quality of customer service - you will not be disappointed here.

We spent a week here on a TUI holiday. It is in a peaceful location; there was some noise from celebrations at the hotel next door but this stopped promptly at 10 pm. There are a couple of bar/cafes near by and a small supermarket about 15 minutes walk away. It is easy to get a local bus to Panjim from the roundabout, 5 minutes walk from the hotel (one-way cost 15 INR).
Breakfast was good - eggs to order, cereal, toast, fresh fruit & yogurt/curd, self-serve tea/coffee machine, muffins & sandwiches and a small selection of hot foods- mostly local vegetarian options. Food in the restaurant was very reasonably priced and excellent quality.
The shower was more basic than we are used to in the UK and the beds and towels were quite hard, but everything was clean.Overall, a good stay, many hanks to the friendly & helpful staff.
